Problem 1. Distant Planet: Well this was quite the rough translation, taking a closer look, I'd say there's both potential and a few fixes needed here. First off, the original was all about interaction and you guys mentioned yourselves it was one of the most selected destinations for battle, why? Maybe cause we liked it, as is? xD

but no need for reverting back entirely, just give us back the stuff going on to the extreme left, like the little drain and rain causing there to be a stream of rushing water, causing fighters to panic and get back to the centered platform. As for the extreme right of the stage, a flat piece of platform with lush green, glistening grass to represent environments of the entire Pikmin franchise should do and add a few autumn leaves in there to kick around. lol =) That background tho.... omg lol, I dunno if you guys intended to refine this or not but that frozen/still Bulborb to the right either needs to be removed or copy and paste another live one to give that particular area life cause as of now it just seems dead and unprofessional. >_< Sorry if I seem harsh, just stating my honest opinion lol

Problem 2. Fountain of Dreams: For the most part, glad to have this back but what made this stage so unique was the crystal clear reflection of the clear black sky, trees and pillars etc. within the settled/flowing water on the surface. All these things we ask if only technically possible of course! ^_^"

Lastly. Melee/N64 Stage

Metal Mario Stage: The Original had alot of flashiness going on but here we get only so little of it (if im not mistaken?)

So Uhhhhh: Can we have ALL N64/Melee Stages and each as original as their counterparts?

That is all, thank you for your valuable time team and good work thus far!!! :D

What does being perfect have too do with claiming to be the embodiment of everyone`s wants?
Well maybe I have MANY friends who netplay with me while skyping and hearing all these wishes/suggestions, plus some of my own, I decided to bring it all to the right place? and yes, on Dolphin lol

..... People liked the Brawl stage Distant Planet?

I only really like it in Project M now because it's a reskin of SSE: Jungle.

I love the reskin of SSE: Jungle into Distant Planet, it's actually my favorite stage. It's both beautiful and innovative.

As for the Fountain of Dreams? You can have all of that if you want. The downside is you'll be dealing with a lot of lag. They tried doing this multiple times and this was the best they could so far.

Or so I've heard.

Same, I agree completely with the reskin and think it is a much better stage for it. I was just saying I loathe the Brawl Distant Planet.

I love hated it.
If you were playing the game casually then it was a stage filled with some good laughs.
If not then screw that stage and everything it stood for.

True, for casual play it was pretty okay. I just wish it had some better default song options

Well, Pikmin had some pretty "boring" tunes. It was nice and relaxing, yeah. But I wanted to take a nap right after I was done.

Personal bias here, but some DK soundtrack (jungle tracks) could have been nice there as an alt to the slow and relaxing music. Considering the music clashes with.... well... fighting.

Nooooooo.

No smash project can please everyone 100%. If you want something done or back, learn to do it yourself. Brawl hacking can be very easy.

and that could easily be said for EVERYONE who wants something back but as I said from the start, it wasn't only my concern and wishes to have certain things back.. =\

There were about 20 Melee enthusiasts in the Skype call with me and yet they missed a few things from brawl, soooooo all we're asking for is a few tweaks, you say it's easy, well then, our requests to begin with ain't so hard afterall huh?

Brawl's Distant Planet was horridly unbalanced. The walk-off ledge on the side was game breaking on it's own. I'd predict that most people on these forums support the changes simply on merit of balance. Besides, if you want distant planet back, it's as simple as deleting two files. The .rel and the .PAC for it.

With all due respect (not to be a grammar snob, it's just pointing out your error lest you make it again), Distant Planet wasn't a popular stage in Brawl. It was popular as SSE: Jungle in Project M for the last couple iterations now that they made it flatter and less random.

I'd be upset if they put hazards back onto the stage, myself.

We already have few competitive stages as it is and we don`t need the best one being changed back into a casual stage (I`m not saying casual play is bad or anything, I`m just saying I don`t want all of the stages to be casual)

Well this IS a competitively centered smash mod so it`s only natural that it`s fanbase would like to have more then just FD and BF
Didn't I say that all we wanted was a tweak? Where you bring back the rushing water to the left and a grassy area to the right? That is all, is it so hard? >_<

The rushing water would instantly make the stage casual and nowhere near as fun

Sighhhh.... alright listen, I've spoken to one of the pm devs and he says it is possible to duplicate a stage, so can we have it seperately? A choice? Please? -_-
They said they won`t add stages because it will break the random stage option

Yes, yes I did, but the changes you suggest are simply not feasible for competitive play. This is a mod made for competition. If you want to make casual stages, be my guest but don't try to force the preferences of your rather small group upon the majority.

and what about a separate PM pack for those who could care less about the random stage feature?
This would be incredibly easy to make on your own.

I think now is the best time to tell you that your in the wrong section, the general discussion thread is the best place to go if you want the PMBR to see this. (please note that "see this" does not mean that they will use this idea)

Ok fine, what about my last suggestion?

Wait, can the PM team make a tutorial on how to duplicate/add more stages on our own?

Ok then, sorry for being seemingly whiny guys, I'll just delete the 2 files as suggested. =)
One more thing, if you just remove those two files, the stage select screen will still show the P:M distant planet. If you're the sort of person that gets annoyed by things like that (like I do), you'll have to replace the stage's preview image and stage icon in the common5.pac.
