Title says it all, what is something(s) that tends to confuse you to no end. Totally not bashing anything or anyone.

For me, it is the Bose corporation: How can the founder, Amar Bose, have a PhD in Electrical Engineering from MIT AND TEACH AT MIT found a corp that makes some seriously crappy audio equipment, charge Premium price for it (as in $300-$10,000+ for anything) and basically deceive the masses into thinking said equipment is the best with tons of marketing and separating their equipment from others to not allow AB comparisons? Paul Wilbur Klipsch (Founder of Klipsch) had an EE in that same field (Electrical Engineering) from Stanford and Klipsch's equipment is far better stuff for significantly less. If someone has a PhD in a field dedicating to electric equipment, I'd damn well expect some seriously good stuff.

That is one of the things that baffles me (And I'm totally not using this thread as an excuse to bash anything)

You do realize how much of that goes to humanitarian work? You get tax deductions for charity, too.
If you can show a citation proving that more money goes to charity than to the churches themselves, I'll take back my views, and try not to use biased sources.

I'm not saying there aren't greedy, corrupt churches out there, but to me it sounds like you're saying "lol look at all u munny-grubbing hippocriticull christfags" like I've seen every other website I've ever been to say.

Besides, we're going to disagree on what qualifies as humanitarian work.

I only speak for the majority as portrayed in the media.

You sound so sure about that.

As long as they involve bringing food, water, clothes, and/or money, then we won't have any disagreement.
And I won't support a church that doesn't involve that... So I guess we do agree after all.

I'm sorry for getting defensive... You have no idea how often I've been under fire for my beliefs.

Truth be told, it matters not to me what one believes, so long as they don't oppress others who don't share said beliefs.

I got mine as a gift. I use it often as an author who needs a keyboard, but I'm the exception. It seems like it would be more trouble than it's worth for most people. But yet they're popular anyway.

How some people even get driver's licenses to begin with.
Yes. You haven't known fear until you've seen someone driving like this through an intersection;

Yeah I got one free with my phone contract, but since I have a Galaxy Note 3 I find it pretty much offers all the benefits of a tablet while still keeping the convenient pocket sized portability of a phone.

That's basically the main reason I don't get tablets, a good smartphone basically renders it obsolete.

That people will actually willingly fork over hundreds of euros/dollars/etc to scalpers for stuff like amiibos, concert tickets, and so on. I just don't see how someone can be so obsessed with something that they'd pay 10+ times the actual value of the thing to get it.

The fact that people on welfare, mainly the healthy people that can get a job just fine, but are to lazy/entitled to get one and instead choose to have free money, often eat better than several people who have jobs that pay in the $30,000 a year mark. There is nothing wrong with eating, but another thing that baffles me is why do they spend welfare money on iPhones, tattoos, and $200 shoes instead putting that welfare money to their children's school funds?

^Got a little rambly up there

I got a Kindle a few years ago for Christmas. It's pretty good for reading books in bed.

I'd love to go on about things that baffle me, but then I'd look like Karl Pilkington, so I'll just say: Scalpers. You're taking children's toys and trying to get even more money off them. I mean, you're getting some decent dosh, good on you, but can you really feel good knowing you took something that a kid probably saved up for weeks to buy only to not even use it?

Copyright law, which does not account for the quality of derivative works.
It's been in need of a serious overhaul for ninety years. Did you know that Nosferatu, widely considered one of the greatest horror films of all time, was ordered to have all of its negatives destroyed by the Bram Stoker estate? It only exists today because it was passed around underground until Dracula became public domain in 1967.
We're facing similar problems today with... every fan project that's ever gained any acclaim. It's not a matter of "if" Project M, for example, get's C&D'd, it's a matter of "when".

Of course I understand requiring protection against buggy, halfhearted train wrecks trying to use name power, but there really should be some kind of protection for derivative works that are actually good and don't claim to be from the original producer.

Unadulterated ignorance by those who know little to nothing about any given topic.

Also, those who do not know the difference between there, their, and they're.

I read amazon ebooks on my phone, but I can see how the larger screen can be nice for that

Why is SAO considered a good anime?
I'm going to put out the fires of the flame war you are about to cause, and just say that people have opinions
Also, those people on twitter who say things such as:
  • rip in peace
  • Happy 2015th birthday America!
  • and any tweet from drake ever

Why are we forced to use the Gamepad with DS VC games, even the ones that don't use touch controls? (I'm looking at YOU, Yoshi's Island DS and Mario Kart DS.)

Also, why do N64 and DS manuals have to be retrieved from the internet rather than being part of the package like with every other console?

Thanks. I'm glad someone knows that was an opinion, and didn't argue with me.

Why is Hilary Clinton considered a candidate for the 2016 election when that Email Scandal should've put her ass in jail?

Why does Robert De Niro support Clinton and thinks she has the right to be president when A. Presidency is a privilege and B. Hilary is the center of a major scandal that should very likely end with her being put in jail to pay her dues?

Also, politics in general.

Really? and not Happy 2015th birthday AMERICA? I'm sorry people, but even wikipedia is smarter than THAT
The "Happy 2015th birthday, America" posts are terribly stupid, don't get me wrong, but it takes a special kind of stupid to think the whole planet is 2015 years old.

that's fair. https://pbs.twimg.com/media/B8darBcCEAAyO75.jpg
I also think this one is worth mentioning. If you can't open it, it goes along the lines of this:
"The super bowl is older than America, because there have been more super bowls than presidents!" I hate twitter (sorry to all of the people who enjoy twitter, trying not to offend you.)

I have to admit that one made me laugh at the sheer stupidity.

Why doesn't the American educational system get their collective asses in gear and make it possible to put colleges at affordable – no, survivable – prices like they are in so many other countries?

Come to think of it, why don't A LOT of American systems get their collective asses in gear?

Because we are too lazy watching other countries actually accomplishing things and arguing over the worlds stupidest controversies ("GUYS, THIS IS SUPER IMPORTANT" "what is it?" "IS THIS DRESS BLUE AND BLACK OR WHITE AND GOLD")

Elitists who criticize others for liking something that they consider 'bad'.
This goes with any media whether it be anime, TV, movies, music, games, etc.

I only rag on those people when they are playing it too loud (as in, I can hear it from the other side of the class room)

Why does burger king screw up my order when all we ask for is plain chicken. What gave them the idea to put mayo on the damn chicken? I know they're busy but come on!
