I was terribly disappointed to see that the online for brawl would be nothing as sophisticated as StarCraft or Halo. Seriously, if they can make the online play better, I am willing to wait the extra time.

Hello? It's Nintendo...the online play won't be spectatuclar, just enough to get through. Still, it will rock, make tourneys a **** of a lot easier, and isn't there some things they aren't telling us yet?

yeah improving online or at least adding a rning system will make me super happy! since they are going all ou on this game I think the two months are going to make a big diffrence, after readin the last update u can with the snapshot thing u cant tell that they are still brainstorming about what to add ad take out hopefuly they add a rankings system

hey i exist hahaa i want a rankings system cuz i feel that it gives somewhat of a goal. like to get see were u stand against the best smashers from everywhere , without one its like "okay so i won but it didnt really mean anything" it would give a reason to play online

There will be. People can get around these protections, and mostly disconnecting is under-punished. It pays off more to disconnect than to finish the fight and lose.
