WoL The World of Light reward

I heard that when you beat WoL, you get the option to change the menu music.

Is this true?

Do you need to beat it 100% to get this, or is a regular playthrough just fine?

Do all songs work or is it just smash series songs?

I dont want to keep playing but if menu songs are locked behind it, i guess i got no choice.

That is correct. You just need to beat the main playthrough once, no need for 100%. I believe the menu music is limited to the typical menu music from past and current smash bros. titles.
