Sorry if there has been info on this anywhere but I can't find it. Can anyone tell me some information on the Wi-Fi connector? I've really been itching to go online with Wii and DS(don't have wireless router), but can't find any information about it. I also really need to know it's range.

Requires Windows XP, 800MHz processor, 256MB RAM, and 10MB HDD space. You also need broadband internet.

Maximum recommended range is 30 feet/10 meters (unobstructed). My Wii is maybe fifteen feet and two rooms away and it works fine.

It plugs into a USB port and lets your DS' and Wii systems (up to five total, I believe) wirelessly connect to the internet your computer is connected to. You get this CD that installs the stuff your computer needs to run it. When you plug it in you get this little window that lets you allow or disallow systems and see what's connected and its signal strength.

Need anything else?

Thanks Devastlian, I knew someone out there would answer my distress signals. Do you happen to have a link for that information or do you just know that. Before I went to get mine about a week ago I was told the store was getting many returns because of 'faulty range' or something like that, and I decided to seek better help. But 30 feet is good enough for me. Thanks.

I just copied it out of the instruction manual for it. The system requirements are pretty low-end so they aren't mentioned anywhere. Also, for anyone wondering, it only works with Windows XP but if you go to the Wikipedia page you can find stuff to download for older versions of Windows (it doesn't work with Windows Vista oddly enough.)

Great, I wasn't really planning on getting Vista anytime soon anyway. Thanks again for the vital info Devastlian.
