I've toyed with the idea of creating a support thread for some of my favorite obscure Nintendo characters. The only reason I haven't pulled the trigger is a lack of free time to truly dedicate to creating a fantastic support thread AND an abject fear that no one will want to read what I have to say about the forgotten characters I'd plug.
So instead I came up with this. Let's make a thread for all the characters that do not have a thread of their own. A place where we can all post little snippits about the characters we want to appear in Smash without having to go through the effort of filling pages worth of posts. Because sometimes you just want a character who doesn't have such elaborate histories or dedicated fanbases. So I invite you all to post the characters you want in Smash that don't appear in the Directory thread Link! Post a photo, post the game they came from, post a small bit about why you like them. Do it with love, not with the purpose of recruiting supporters, creating signature icons or banners, or creating walls of text.
The only rule I ask (but will not enforce) is that the characters posted here be Nintendo Properties.

Sometimes I think I'm the only one who played this Super Scope game - but a robot cowboy dueling with six shooters sound too good to be true.
Devil - Devil World - NES - 1984
I love obscure characters, plus how awesome would it be to see Lou here charge up his smash attacks for hell-fiery explosive directional commands?
Neither of these guys have their own threads and seem to only ever get mentioned in wishlist threads and obscure/retro spot options, they deserve some spotlight of their own
Feel free to post heroes, villains, NPCs, basic stock enemies, this is a safe place by design! So let's have some fun with it
