The "Secrets" of Life

I've pondered and wondered some much about life as teen that pretty much now most of my spare time goes into developing a theory about Life and it's "Secrets". I thought it'd be very simple with a li'l time and deep thought, but I was wrong. But I'm at a point where I feel like I answered some of the more "Important" things to answer about Life with theories of course. But all my theories seem extremely incomplete. I'm starting beleive that a huge chunk of Earth's creature existance is simply survival. By a huge chunk I mean maybe 25 - 30%. Survival doesn't answer such questions as "Where did humans come from" and " Why does the sun shine". Or even questions like " How did scientists determine that the universe is without an end or center"," How are the planets staying afloat" and " How did oxygen become so essential to all life(forms) on earth". So I'd like to see what others think! Please try to keep religion out of this, unless it's to prove a point. I don't want any flaming going on, on my behalf!

dude you just asked like 18 questions from 22 different fields of science, and half of them are outdated, obselete, or wrong.

Hey Woody, what grade are you in? If you're in an earlier grade, like 1-5, you should know that you will learn the answers to all of those questions in a few years.

All of those questions have been answered by science. They aren't really "Secrets".

If you are in one of those younger grades and still curious, just say so, and I'll see if I can help you out.

You're a teenager. You don't know anything. I'm almost 21 and I still don't know a lot. There's some quote about the fool thinks he knows everything, but the wise man knows he doesn't know anything.

Basically, just start doing research. It'll open your eyes. Avoid the internet. ANYONE can post anything and claim it as fact.

The planets are like puppets, dude. Have you ever heard of string theory? It's the theory that there is a master puppeteer holding the planets up and making them dance around on strings. The sun shines so he can see what he's doing. Also, the sun actually produces humans at a rate of ten humans per earthly hour. They come from little pores on the sun's surface. Humans came from the sun and the puppeteer transported them to earth. Then he flipped the lightswitch to turn on the sun, so every ten humans created now are incinerated on spot. As for the scientists determining the universe is unending, it doesn't matter because the universe is flat. I dunno about oxygen.

...that pretty much sums it all up.
All of those points and questions can be answered at a library or school or such. The internet CAN help, but even wikipedia isn't all that useful, so I recommend asking your teachers and whatnot.

Planets don't float, you need to do some research, pick up a book or encyclopedia.

I've known some of this stuff since I was a pre-teen and I'm surprised people are still in the dark about some of these matters.

Wow ok. I think I'll start by saying you, Crimson King, know nothing about me. I started this with the intension of bouncing fact and theory together. Theories such as Universal, String, The Hutchinson's Effect, Heliocentric Cosmology, etc. Also personal expirence and opinions in attempt to discuss or debate Life and the Universe. The use of word "Secrets" implies the answers to Life are hidden here on Earth right under our eyes. Such things like plants or dirt contain the answers to the many questions upon questions of Life. I'd also like to ask what exactly in my first post was "wrong". I mainly posted common questions and a part of my personal opinon. Attacking and insulting me is ridiculous.

Probably out eating some dirt or something.
I hope I don't upset anyone with this. I believe science in all actuality is the study of how God created everything and does things. I believe that the unanswered questions of the world are in religion. I don't want to see any Mormon cracks about this.

I believe that the LDS church has most of the answers. I am a strong believer in that.

If you know anything about the LDS faith we believe that there was not beggining (to our mind's comprehension) and there is no end (to our mind's comprehension). When we are in the spirit world is when I believe that the secrets of the universe will be revealed. Actually at the second coming all things will be revealed.

I know these from my church teachings. I understand that a whole lot of you don't agree and I am ok with that. I do not wish to get into an arguement with anyone, just wanted to state my thoughts on the matter. Will not respond to any comments directed at me in this thread. I will discuss over Pm though.

I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we are all very sorry for attacking and insulting you.

You should know, however, that the wording of your first post made it sound like you didn't know the answers to the questions you were asking.

One thing that was "wrong" in your first post was that you said " How did scientists determine that the universe is without an end or center?" The fate of the universe (Big Crunch, Heat Death, or some other thing) is still being debated by scientists. But the fact that you made a mistake isn't really important.

I hate to say this, but all the questions you asked don't really have that much of a "debate" potential. Maybe it would be better to make a new "Let's talk about Life and the Universe" topic which doesn't use the rather silly word "Secrets".

Also, I don't mean to sound rude or patronizing, if it seems like I do.

Cheers.

Eh, about that first post (and my overall grammar), It's a long and involved story but I post almost the same as I speak (which isn't "English") and since I don't have enough time to proofread my posts, misunderstandings almost always happen, like now. My own parents and some of my friends have a hard time understanding what comes out me pie hole. . . Anyway the questions from the first post came from a mixture of things. Mainly a discussion between me and my friends about the stuff a few of them saw on the Discovery Science channel. The majority of my friends don't care about science and hate being in college. But I'm the opposite and our conversations are always "them against I"
By the way Pustilio, that's really interesting. Time for more research!:)

Resurrected.
I thought that the string theory described what the smallest unit is. It describes that an electron is not just a solid mass but infact it is made up of complex, interweaving, strings of matter and is in essence 'one pixel', 'the smallest unit'. And infact the strings aren't even real points they are a emission of vibrations. I think...in the most basic way of explaining it.

Along with that, the theory raised the question that there could be multiple planes of alternate dimensions all around us, but because of our molecular breakdown, we can't enter those alternate dimensions, if I remember correctly. It makes sense but, that seems like it'd be difficult to prove. Nonetheless, 'tis interesting. Reminds of A Wrinkle in Time.
