George Eliot once said “Our dead are never dead to us until we have forgotten them.” As some of you are aware, Yesterday, the 6th of July, was a dark day for the members of Smashboards.. It was a dark day for Super Smash Bros. players everywhere.. And it was a dark day for the family and friends of the one and only Skyfire. Late last night, our dear friend Skyfire left us.
I don't think you should die until you're ready. Until you've wrung out every last bit of living you can. So it would thrill me to tell you guys that Skyfire left this world readily and willingly, but unfortunately, that is not the case. For Skyfire didn’t leave us willingly at all, he was taken… He was murdered. The perpetrator? None other then Smashboards’ own, Dmoogle.
Murder is unique in that it abolishes the party it injures, so that society has to take the place of the victim and on his behalf demand atonement or grant forgiveness; it is the one crime in which society has a direct interest. As for me, I’m not ready to forgive and I sure as hell am not ready to forget. Yesterday night, my friend.. my brother, was taken from me. Even if it costs me my life in exchange, I will make sure that he died for something. I will make sure that his death was meaningful.
Skyfire was a man who loved justice. He believed that all the great things in life are simple, and that many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope. Those were the principals in which he lived his life by. What do I believe? I believe that when Dmoogle took Skyfire’s life, he took with him all of the principals in which Sky had lived, and crushed them. When Dmoogle murdered Skyfire, he became the epitome of injustice itself.

I’m sick of sacrifices. I’m sick of suffering. And I’m sick of struggling! In the name of every kid whose ever gotten a bull**** infraction for double posting, in the name of every kid whose ever gotten a thread he started moved to the social thread because it just wasn’t good enough, in the name of HAMMERHEART, Komotonoto and Skyfire… I will be JUSTICE.
Dmoogle, your days of corrupting this forum are over. For too long you’ve abused your powers as a moderator. I won’t watch anymore… There are some beings who words alone will not reach, Dmoogle is such a being. Actions must be taken. No longer will i stand this madness! I’m not afraid of the darkness! I am the Hope of the universe! I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth… Ally to good! Nightmare to you!! MEMBERS OF SMASHBOARDS, THIS IS OUR CHANCE. It is the dawn of a new day. I’m tired of hiding in the shadows. I’m tired of living in fear! Together we can be the change that each and every one of has been waiting for. A war is at our doorsteps- the inevitable battle between the light and darkness… Between good and evil. Be careful the environment you choose for it will shape you; be careful the friends you choose for you will become like them. Let me help you. Let me lead you. I will guide you through the darkness.
Friends, give me a chance. Let me be the Moderator Smashboards has always needed! I believe that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. As long as Dmoogle is an active moderator, there is no post on Smashboards that is safe.
Give me liberty or give me death! I know now that I exist to be Smashboards’ savior. If I die tonight, I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my community. For I would die a thousand times to ensure the well-being and safety of the ones I love. However, even my death could not stop me, for someone else would just take place. You can’t kill an idea, Dmoogle, you can’t kill hopes and dreams.
Friends, take my hand. I will save you.
