Ladies, Gents, lets talk about Resident Evil. That's right, the PS1/Saturn (oh yeah it was on the Saturn btw) title that brought the survival horror genre to mainstream gaming all the way to Resident Evil 6, which is the sixth game in the series. Yeah, not much to say there without sounding like an opinion.
For the uninformed, Resident Evil is a series of survival horror games that started in the mid 90s with the first title on the previously mentioned PlayStation and Saturn. The early games follow various survivors as they fight off undead horrors and other mutants all while unraveling the Umbrella conspiracy. The later titles involve many of the same survivors going to remote parts of the world to fight the virus that has spread well beyond the boarders of the United States (where the original three games took place).
