*Since this is a massive topic in and of itself, it needs to be separate from the item discussion thread.*
Now that the PokeBall has been confirmed to return, which Pokemon should be PokeBall Pokemon in Brawl? What move should each perform?

Confirmed:
Groudon
Chikorita
Goldeen

Likely:
Kyogre
Rayquaza
Cyndaquil
Palkia
Dialga

Snorlax, Charizard, Blastiose: those are the three that will make a definite return.
As for Onix, I think it's about time they used someone else to take it's place, since we are in a new generation and all! How about Steelix? :)

Get rid of Scizor (or w/e), and replace it with Blaziken.
All three legendary birds (moltras, articuno, zapidos) will return most likely.
All that I really want to see out of these Pokeballs, is for Mew to actually do something!

Wailord!
It comes in, moves to the bottom of the screen, and uses Water Spout, releasing a jet of water from its blowhole.
Flygon-Sandstorm.
Flaps its wings, causing a massive dust storm damaging everyone, even the player who threw the PokeBall.
Vespiquen-Attack Command
Sends out a swarm of Combee, who all charge across the screen.

The Vespiqueen is a good one, that will replace the Beedrill/Unknown.
Wailord is an okay idea, but that would definately cover the whole thing.
That thing is bigger than Groudon, and he's already huge!

I believe Rayquaza and Kyogre will be in it for sure because Groudon is confirmed. Regirock, Regice, and Registeel will probably be in it, or atleast I won't be surprised by their apperance. Those three might replace the three legendary dogs from gold and silver considering some pokemon got axed from smash 64 to melee. They might even replace Lugia and Hoho with the legendary dragons from Diamond and Pearl. Wow, so many legendary Prokemon and there are alot more. I just think some of the older legendary pokemon will be replaced with newer ones.

As for normal pokemon, I can see some of the more popular 3rd and 4th generation pokemon in it. The origional starters will definitely make a return (or atleast in my opinion).

I would love to see Magikarp in it. He would do the same thing as Goldeen, but there will be a 1/4 chance that it will evolve into Gyaradose and use hyper beam for a 1 hit ko (or atleast a tone of damage with good knockback). I doubt it will happen, but it would be cool to see an evolving pokemon in the fray.

Moltras, Articuno, Zapidos-- The Three Legendary Birds
Regirock, Registeel, Regiice-- The Three Legendary Regi's (possibility of Regigigas)
Diamond and Pearl Dragons-- Replacing Lugia and Hoho
Mew and Celebi-- Still in there, but please actually do something!
Groudon and Kyogre-- Two Legendary Additions

Those should be the only legendary Poke'mon in the game, any more would be abusing it.
As for the other normal Poke'mon, I've mentioned the ones that really matter in previous posts. As for Magikarp evolving into Garydos, it's have to be a 1/10 probability, and it'd have to be more powerful than a legendary if it evolves.

In....sanity.....insanity
goldeen should be replaced by magirkarp.......the ability of uselessly flopping around BELONGS to magikarp.....I don't know why it was Goldeen for previous smashs'........but whoever decided that is stupid.....it's wrong, and it's always bugged me....

I don't expect most of the older legendaries to return, frankly. Definitely not the legendary birds.
Regirock-Rock Slide
Sends a cascade of boulders down upon the Brawlers.
Regice-Icy Wind
Sends a cold wind out to either side of it, freezing all it touches.
Registeel-Mirror Shot
Sends out a beam of liquid steel.

Spheal-Rollout
Curls into a ball, and rolls across the stage.

Uh, peoples? Goldeen seems to be confirmed as one of the PokeBall Pokemon.
But Magikarp should make it in, too.
Magikarp would do the same thing as Goldeen, flop around, but if any Brawler touches it, it evolves into Gyarados, and Hyper Beams 'em. Rawr.
