The point of debating.

Is to debate on a certain side of an arguement, pro-life or pro-choice, whether we should continue stem cell research or not. etc. Most of the tmie these arguements are pretty one-sided. i was curious as to if anyone would want to try something with my next debate. first person to respond is on the 'pro' side (for what the debate is offering.) the second is on the 'con' side (against what the debate is offering) and it repeats so on and so forth.

Anyone down to try this?

Devil's Advocate is a pretty common approach to debating here. Usually, you want to pick a topic.

that's what it's called? I honestly didn't know XD. (just looked it up on google, it makes sense).

Anyways i guess we can do it on abortion. I really didn't have a topic yet. I just wanted to hear people's opinions.
