This really needs to exist.
Personally, I think Pichu COULD be his own character. I was thinking of ways that he could use his own damage to his advantage, then it hit me: Lucario's aura, electric style. Adding extra range and knockback in his attacks as he uses them would be cool, plus just the thunder coming off his hands would be badass.
Also, Iron Tail as a SideSpecial (Squall Hammer clone) and Volt Tackle as a USpecial (Firefox clone) and a brand new NSpecial, Thunderbolt (shoots a horizontal tbolt, chargable)
As well, a Pikachu N64 NAir would be nice.
So what do you think? Are for or opposed to Pichu in PM?

I think it's fair to say that bringing back Pichu would be nice for the people that enjoyed his Melee playstyle. I think the problem is that as soon as you start making huge changes, you lose the benefit of bringing back that old playstyle people say they're so fond of, because it won't really be the Pichu from Melee once you start changing him up for the purpose of viability. He'll just be a familiar face, and yet another Pokemon. With that in mind, if you want to keep the same playstyle, well, good luck getting it to not be total garbage or extremely polarizing, at least in comparison to Pikachu.
I don't really care too much either way whether he gets in, but this should either be taken to the Clone Engine Character Discussion thread, or probably just dropped altogether, since the same old argument probably won't generate anything constructive there either.
