It's been a year since we've been talking about this already, So know I'm gonna go out of my way and just say it now. Smash 3DS and Wii U should be coming out this year, But when it comes to the Wii U version it pretty much already has a Competitive scene already. Does the 3DS have a Competitive scene? Well it seems like it doesn't, Everyone's talking about the Wii U competitive scene, So how come I only see only see a Smash 3DS Competitive Scene that's looks's like it soesn't even want to live anymore? THIS MUST HAPPEN! Smash 3DS needs a Competitive scene! We don't only want to hear about the Wii U version all of time? We don't want just a "minigame" version of Smash Bros. This needs to be talked about more. So from now on I'm gonna say from this day forward Smash 3DS MUST and WILL have a Competitive Scene. Because when I really care about this version, There's things like this that must be done. This must get talked about more. We need to discuss this a little more. Because with even some type of support we can all make it happen. So from here we shall discuss about this for like the 100th time lol.......I'm crossing my heart with this. But it's time that I've made a thread about this, Because I know all of us can make this happen. Just with a lot of Effort and even support we can make it happen.

- From here on out SmasherP83 has now dubbed his life (not really) into this topic. Let's get to work~

What might be a cool idea is to make a social group and invite those interested to it, I should do that...

I did that! Anyone interested let me know and I'll get you in!

Eh, by the way it is looking the Wii-U so far is going to be tied down to wireless controllers only which is counter productive. While dealing locally with a bunch of 3DSes is much less of a hassle and probably more reliable in terms of lag, especially if people have those LAN cables thingies (or w/e they are called) that allow the 3DSes to be wired to one another. Along with the people who have plans to make a competitive scene out of the 3DS Smash I can easily see the 3DS getting a big scene, even one not dominantly online.

Eh, it would probably better for you if you did invite only rather then letting people ask to be put in.

But that just how I've always viewed these types of things.

You won't have to change the controls all the time, because you only need your 3ds system. This one might just be me, but you can listen to whatever music you want through your 3DS and the other player through theirs. You can have your outlines however you want. With the cable that connects the 3DS's together, there shouldn't be lag. I don't see why the 3ds can't have a competitive smash game!

Oh, I misread it then. Never mind about the cable.

So I've been thinking about this for awhile. And I've seen some people talk about this but at Tournaments I've heard some people talking about since there's mainly gonna be Wii U tournaments. People would just play Smash Bros. On there 3DS until there match is ready or so. But do you think people may actually hold Smash 3DS tournaments or not? I wanna hear your thoughts on it.

Maybe someone will have a white shirt so I can get past the dark room in Find Mii.

Glad to see I'm alive too! I've been busy lately, so I haven't been on here as much (by busy, I mean Homework and Pokemon).
Lawl. Well I've been dead for 3 days (Fire Emblem and Sonic) So I cant blame ya.

Just do what they did at APEX with pokes, local wireless events.

Also Nintendo handhelds have notably good online, so stable online tournies can finally become a true option.

I have an odd feeling that the 3DS version will be the competitive one in the end.:troll:
