The Official Perfect Dark Support Thread

Personally, this would be a great character addition. Well for one, as of right now, SSBB lacks female 3rd party characters let alone new female character additions for the SSBB roster.

Well, I've got the "perfect" remedy for our lil problem.

How about Rare Inc. addes Joanna Dark from the Perfect Dark series to the fray? She's completely original, and her appearance would instantly make her a rival for Samus Aran. (They are both bounty hunters)

History with Nintendo

Perfect Dark (Nintendo 64)
Perfect Dark (Game Boy Color)
Perfect Dark Zero (was orginally suppose to be for the Gamecube but was transfered exclusively for Xbox 360)

Subspace Storyline
Carrington Institute, J.Dark's Company, have give Perfect Dark two tasks. Capture Samus Aran and Solid Snake so they might be brought in for questioning. If they are resistant, then use extreme force.

And as for her moveset, well..., I'm certainly not good at all making a moveset for characters. If this thread is still alive some time down the road, then yeah, I'll make one, but I'm certainly not going to waste my time & effort doing one unless this is 2 pages or more of discussion back and forth.

she has the same problem as people like cortez(time splitters) she uses conventional weapons mainly, so her chances are very unlikley. I know snake got in, but that is because he had plenty of explosives.

That and Kojima begged before the deity known as "Sakurai." Or he would've never made it in.

But yeah I know, but still it'd be nice to have another bounty hunter that specializes in espionage in the Brawl mix.

Thx and sorry about bashing on the character even more but also, doesnt rare make banjo and kazooie? cause they seem like rares reps more than anything. sorry but, she doesnt fit the bill to me...she just has more against her than for her. the whole bounty hunter/espionoge thing has been filled, she would take snakes thunder (and we dont want that do we?)

Yeah, Rare makes Banjo and Kazooie. Grr....that bear is useless...But yeah, I think that's there mascot, but it should so be Perfect Dark. That or Killer Instinct.

B&K were good in there first two games. but without nintendo's hand in there next game, I dont know how it will go. so far, every company that left nintendo to move on, has went down hill. so B&K's next game might not doo to well (I also hate that new look to realistic).

and that is a little true about snake, but what about the other way around? would snake eclipse her inclusion? and would other people want a character who is similar to another to take a third party slot? she has many hurtles to jump, can she make it?

what I find funny is that so many game companies left nintnedo, I bet if they had known nintendo would have jumped to the top, they would have stuck with them. I wish B&K and a few other characters stuck with nintendo. if they had who knows how many games nintendo would have now that arnt only for casual gamers.

I frowned when Rare made the stupid decision as to disban from Nintendo. That was so stupid! All of my childhood favorite games like B&K, Killer Instinct, and Perfect Dark jumping ship was truly sad. Oh well, it's a lesson learned for them I suppose. Grr.....this is one of the reasons I hate Xbox and Microsoft! Not enough Rare game titles!

Then they could always get down on there hands and knees and beg Miyamoto for a job back.

Agreed, just grow up. Everyone is tired of your shanenningans. About Joanna, it would be cool if she gets in despite being a western character who was hardly known in Japan, her mine bomb was already in Meele so she deserves justice as Lip but she is Rare, so she won't be.
