Pokemon Name: Mamoswine
National Pokedex Number: 473
Metagame Tier: BL
Ability: Oblivious/Snow Cloak
Type: Ice/Ground
Base Stats:

-Hp 110
-Attk 130
-Def 80
-Sp. Attk 70
-Sp. Def 60
-Spd 80

Movesets

Sweeper

Mamoswine@Choice Band/Choice Scarf/Life Orb
Adamant/Jolly
EV - 252 HP/ 252 Att/ 6 Spd
-Earthquake
-Stone Edge
-Ice Fang/Ice Shard/Peck/Bite
-Ice Fang/Ice Shard/Peck/Bite

It's main use. EQ + SE for coverage, and then there's Ice Fang for strong STAB, Ice Shard to quickly kill dragons and such, Peck solely for Heracross, and Bite for Dusknoir/Cresselia/other Ghosts and Psychics. The items that are listed are benefical in every way. Choice Band to hurt almost everything with 2nd most powerful Earthquake in the game, Life Orb wouldn't hurt the opponent as much, but you can choose your attacks, or use Choice Scarf and Jolly to try outspeeding Heracross and from there it's an eat or be eaten game. But if you want to outpace Adamant Heracross for sure, go Jolly with 200 or so EVS. If Heracross is Jolly and Scarfed, let's just hope you know ahead of time.

Curseswine

Mamoswine@Leftovers
Adamant/Brave
EV - 252 HP/ 252 Att/ 6 Def
-Curse
-Earthquake
-Ice Shard/Stone Edge
-Avalanche/Stone Edge

Here's that expected "Curseswine". Curse away, then attack. Earthquake is standard, then use Stone Edge for coverage, Ice Shard to ignore Curse's speed drop, or Avalanche to take advantage of the speed drop.

Support

Mamoswine@Leftovers
Adamant
EV - 252 HP/ 252 Att/ 6 Spd
-Roar/Light Screen/Reflect
-Earthquake
-Ice Fang/Ice Shard/Stone Edge
-Stealth Rock/Light Screen/Reflect

It's novelty, but whatever. Put up a barrier, or Stealth Rock them and Roar. Eartquake's there, and that other attack is up to you.

COUNTERS
Although Mamoswine has massive HP and one of the best type-covering STAB attacks in the game, it's defenses aren't nothing above average, so anything super-effective will hurt. Heracross will kill you when given the chance, that is, if you lack Peck. Gyarados is knida iffy with countering, but has Intimidate, immunity to Earthquake, and STAB Waterfall. Also, special sweepers in general counter Mamoswine. Sorry, forgot to mention Aqua Jet to get that first hit in Mamoswine (but what OU pokemon uses it?)

Bronzong resists all from Mamoswine, if you leave Bite out of there. Then, it can Gyro Ball/Grass Knot you into oblivion, as wel as Mesprit and Cresselia. So can Infernape, but he would rather use Close Combat. Skarmory's immune to Earthquake and phazes the Curse set. Weezing and Dusknoir just have that high defense like Skarmory and more, such as Will-o-wisp, Fire Blast/Flamethrower (I talk of Weezing here), and Pain Split to take advantage of your rather high HP before smearing your head on a wall, that is, if you're up against Dusknoir and you have Bite in your utility belt.

CONTENT SECTION
Mamoswine is a great pokemon to use if your team lacks a dragon killer, and packs more than one punch. Has great coverage as well, not mentioning that it rids of a lot of threats that could otherwise own your team.
Helps Ghost pokemon get in because of Fighting weakness. Works well with Yanmega, Gyarados, and any Water or Flying type for that matter. It would also like some Speed Baton Passed to it, as that only makes it more of a threat.

Good job, I say.

You beat me to it, I wanted to do the same RTP.

But you did a good enough job anyways. Well done Chubbs.

BTW, you could bold a few more moves, i think you were a bit picky, i.e. Rock Slide.

:yoshi: The first set looks like a serial killer ran through it, what with all the slashes.

Hahahaha, see how I did that, there? Slashes? Killers? Okay, well, whatever.

Also, I dunno about having Peck on Mamoswine for Heracross. Mamoswine isn't living a choice band anything'd Close Combat. I guess if the Choice Heracross is stuck using Stone Edge, that could work, but yeah. Anyway, that's just me.

I get it!
...
so this isn't spam, make a mention how Ground/ Ice is a huge type- coverage combo by itself, and I think Ice Fang/Shard or Avalanche should go over Stone Edge.
Make a mention how its the only usable pokemon in the game immune to both Sandstream and Snow Warning, and how his speed isn't USELESS!!!

The counter section needs MOORE STuFF

Bronzong resists all its attacks (save Bite) and can KO with Gyro Ball or Grass Knot (if it actually has the latter, it hits Mamoswine for 120 base power and is SE)

Skarmory can (kinda) wall him and wear him down. He can also phaze the Curse set.

Gyarados fears Stone Edge, but is immune to Earthquake along with being neutral to Ice Fang. Intimidate helps and he has STAB Waterfall.

Weezing has that excellent Defense, Will-o-Wisp, and Flamethrower / Fire Blast.

Cresselia and Mespirit could dodge a firing missile called Bite and use Grass Knot for the win.
====================
Just so everyone knows, if Mamoswine is Jolly and has at least 200 Speed EVs (and 31 Speed IVs), then it can outspeed Adamant Choice Band Heracross.

For the Curse set, the remaining 6 EVs should go in Special Defense. It should have Curse, Earthquake, Avalanche, and Light Screen.

I don't know if you know, but the Content Section is supposed to be a summary of the Pokemon. What you've got right now is good, you just need a summary.

I think Roar and Protect should be bolded.

Otherwise, good job. :bigthumbu

Just look at that.

The glare in his eyes.

The alpha male tusks.

The super-masculine stance.

I think you're just a hater, good sir.

That's the only pic I could find, other than the Mamoswine man. If you haven't noticed already (I am talking to Shiri as he's/she's the only one online ATM) I edited it. Go take a looksie.

I'm not a hater, I just said maybe he should get a cooler pic. I just suggested it.
No biggie.

you didnt quote me at all, the nerve. FYI the adamant and jolly section with peck have a 252/252 hp attck spread. no speed. that is why i complained, we have discussed this wii4mii some time ago.
