With the confirmation of editing control schemes (whenever it was), I decided to make this.

Here you can post what your possible custom controls are gonna be.

Here's mine:

Wiichuck Combo:

Nunchuck
control stick: movement
C button: Jump
Z button: Shield

Wii remote

A button: Attack
B Button: Special Attack
- button: Quick Grab
+ button: Pause
1 and 2 buttons: Taunts

I will use the gamecube controller with preset controls. Only thing I will change is the stupid "jumping" abilty with the Analogue stick, I HATE it.. Else everything is okay.

Wit 'cube and Classic Controller I'll probably use the preset controls. If I play around with Nunchuk, I'm switching jump to down on the d-pad, rather than up. It's closer to the A button, as it should be.

I may use Classic with D-pad movement for a while, for that SNES-retro feel.

I'll definately use either the Classic Controller or the GC controller. I don't really have any very important control switches at the moment, save that any commands on the CC's ZL and ZR buttons will be immediately removed. And, regardless of what I use, I am definitely going to, if they implement it, remove the Jump command from pushing the control stick up. That one change, if nothing else, will help my game a lot.

Probably the Gamecube controller since I'm used to it already. Hopefully I can set jump to just X and Y so I don't have to worry about accidentally jumping when I try to do an upwards attack.

Then again, my ideal setup would be with the classic controller with movement set to both the d-pad (I accidentally dash when I want to walk sometimes) and left joystick and smash set to its own button so I don't have to worry about accidentally smashing when I want to use a tilt.

It's going to depend on the character I'm using. I'm sure different control schemes will work better for different characters and many strategies will be formed revolving around the customizable controls.
