So I came up with a cool idea. Everyone likes Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. And after reading about a crazy doubles skill done by the Mario Bros. team, I was thinking that maybe we could make up a whole list of Bros. moves, or combos, for the Bros. to do. Off the top of my head, I can think of a few things already. I'm not sure how strict the requirements should be, but they have to both have a part in it, it can be escapable but not easy to get out of, and it should do some form of damage or support. Difficulty 5's will be listed in a separate section called "Secret Scrolls." The Mario boards will have this linked to them, so hopefully they'll help. Be creative.

Mario's List


1. Spike Bros.
Instructions: Get Luigi to grab the opponent. Use a down throw while Mario readies an F-Air. Time it right, and once the enemy is sent flying up they'll get smashed by the move, straight down.
Advance!!: Use Up-throw at lower percents, or end it with a SHORYUKEN!
Notes: Only works at lower percents. Use it at the edge and you might get a spike.
Difficulty: 3
Practicality: 4


Luigi's List

1. Locker Bros.
Instructions: Get Mario to grab the opponent. Have Luigi wait at the spot the enemy is going to be after a grab release. Just wait there with Mario, no grab attacking, and have Luigi spam U-Tilt in place. After the release, the enemy will be in an instant U-Tilt lock.
Advance!!: Mario can follow up the lock with some of his attacks for big damage.
Notes: Great when an enemy just died off the top. Actually easy without that, as the enemy will quickly break free anyway.
Difficulty: 1
Practicality: 5

Mario could also let the opponent fall to the ground after the Fair and jab lock. Actually, I think Luigi has a jab lock also (but don't hold me to that).

You can followup with almost anything from the fair but, upB is best since it kills. Grabing from the fair is sick becuase its basically a ice climber wannabe look thing infinite.

Using mario to throw luigi up with upthrow is highly unexpected and if your oppenent is high up in the air nair could kill them i think.This works for all throws.throwing luigi to increase his air speed a bit. It's also unexpected. This doesn't work too good vice-versa because mario only has one move that works good with this(bair).

Mario can use fludd to make luigi slide while chargeing a smash on the ground or any other move.(sliding grab,tilt) .If you've seen the polmex and monk vid then thats a good example of using fludd in a match,if you haven't seen it,go watch it now!

They can both do a fireball spam wall. Mario spams fireballs on the bottom and luigi jumps a spams fireballs,not to usefull unless you guy are losing or something and your facing someone with ike.You can be both offensive and defensive with this kinda.
Double WoP bair.Double upairs

luigi can DAC towards mario and mario can cape though this is only for mindgames not actual distance. Mario can turn luigi around with the cape so Luigi missle mindgames? lol.Well this is all i can think of right now and i didn't use the format because im using my wii browser.


REMEMBER MOST OF THESE CANNOT BE LEARNED IN ONE SESSION,THESE TAKE SOME TIME TO LEARN DO NOT ATTEMPT THESE IN A COMPETETIVE ENVOIRMENT UNTIL YOU ARE CERTINE YOU CAN DO THEM AND CAN TIME THEM.TRUST ME,IT TOOK ME AND MY PARTNER 2 DAYS BEFORE WE COULD EVEN MASTER THE DTHROW TO FAIR,REMEMBER IT'S ALL TIMING AND COMMUNICATION!

I love how in the past week the Mario and Luigi boards has been cooperating with each other. ^_^

Sadly the lack of a Luigi mainer in my area doesn't allow me to contribute...

Is this just like a Mario SUperstat Saga thread?
Just read it and you'll see that its a discussion on different set ups both brothers can do in a team setting, like Bros. Moves in SuperStar Saga.

i has a bros move that would probably work.

Mario grabs, luigi dtaunts the grabbed oponent, mario jumps, fair spike,

then luigi can

grab: and maro can do stuffs...preferably leading to luigis up b. (what happens if you cape a grabed oponent?
grab, then grab realease, then mario grabs, then do this whole thing aqgain

or he can end it fith up angled fsmash or up b.

this is what i would do to peeps.

i like the grab realse one and just keep doing it, cuz taunt is set knockback.

i want to test out the posibilities to this evetualy.

Grounded footstool to nair, that would be cool.

That Luigi use fireball on teammate to speed up projectile frames thing that Wigi found doesn't work because you don't really need to spam fireballs.

So does that D-taunt to Fair spike thing work, WIGI? That'd be awesome. Gotta try it myself when I have time.
