Some people believe that #47 refers to event match #47 from Melee, which takes places on a stage made out of Majora's Mask.

Event #47 in Melee is the one where you fight upon Majora's Mask. As of now, it's the only real connection anyone has.

That said, even if Skull Kid is playable, I hope that the rest of the supposed "leak" isn't true. I can't stand Smash 4 and P:M having disappointing rosters. :cry:

Sorry if I'm ignorant, but I wasn't aware the "leak" specified anyone besides Skull Kid and Sami. Who else is on the roster supposedly?

maybe its the number of playable characters? think of it.... the current roster is 41...one of the leaked image had 6 new fighters on it(sami,waluigi,skull kid,isacc,knuckles,and lyn) 41+6=47!!!

Character limit is 46 at the moment.

Nah we have to have 80 characters with most of them being 1:1 clones that look like an Anime character and have shared sound effects.
