I thouroughly enjoyed the Events update. Good to see they're taking single-player as seriously as they do the multiplayer aspect. But I have two questions on this update.

How many events do you think there will be?

And more importantly.

Who else thinks hard is the new normal?(instead of normal being normal)
I'm basing this off the fact that the new normal mode has half a smash symbol and hard mode has the Standard and full smash symbol. This would make sense since nintendo is all for streamlined games for children and old people.(and *******). And in the update itself Sakurai suggests that "A harder setting is probably more exciting".

WTFXUP?

I dunno, as far as dumbing down goes, it's becoming a common procedure among game producers, so I wouldn't be surprised.
I'm expecting the same amount of events.

Sakurai KNOWS that hard is good.:) Oh yes.......;)
I see what you did there.

It seems to be a common procedure among nintendo exclusively. I don't see microsoft dumbing down halo, or sony screwing the difficulty of Ratchet and Clank. But I'm not hating on nintendo. This is just a pet peeve of mine.
