yes wily theme from Megaman 2 is a great theme for smash4

I however, will. I think the song will be the main theme, maybe it'll be changed a bit before release, but I like it, and most likely it's going to be the main theme.

Of course, what songs will they use in later trailers? Probably a variation of this theme, or songs from other games, depending on what veterans/newcomers will be shown in it.

I think the song sounds pretty cool, especially at the beginning (no, not the Animal Crossing Theme, sillies). I love that build-up where it shows all the series logos.

In all honesty, though, I hope they don't Brawl-theme-ify this song. When I saw Brawl's E3 trailer, I thought the song was awesome. When I got through with SSE, I never wanted to hear it again.

Yeah, there must have been at least ten different renditions of Brawl's theme in the game. By the end of Subspace all I could think was "why the hell are they still playing this theme Jesus Christ"

It's not on quite the same scale as the theme from SSB64, where that ended up being Melee's Final Destination/ Giga Bowser theme. That was a throwback. With Brawl, they just said "Man, what song can we use for Final Destination? WAIT! Remember that theme we made with the Latin choir? Let's get ANOTHER Latin choir to sing the same song! And then orchestrate fifteen remixes for the Adventure Mode!"

After that fiasco, SSB4's theme is sounding like a bit of a breathe of fresh air.

I think the problem with the latin choir is it was too epic and so too recognizable. I mean: Super Smash Bros. is a fighting game featuring a lot of different characters of many designes and proportions, like Toy Story or The Amazing World of Gumball. A noble tune like that, for how much good it is, isn't very fitting and will pop up in the ear whenever you hear it.
The theme of this edition seems less exagerated while still enough epic. Maybe too similar in style to the Melee one but more fitting.

I love how it's fully instrumental. looking back, the Latin choir and all those arrangements of brawl's theme song was too much.

It was, but to a lesser extent. There were about three remixes of the Intro Theme, two or three of the Menu Theme, and two of the 64 Intro. As many others have said, the Brawl theme was just too overwhelming after a while. The themes in Melee were more accessible, and they made more originals than in Brawl. In SSBB, with the exception of Tabuu's theme, I'm pretty sure EVERY original song was based on the Brawl theme, which can get a little too overwhelming, especially for a song that's already a little too much for a generally lighthearted party/fighting game.

Eh, I personally didn't mind the numerous variations of the theme, but I can understand why others would get sick of it.

I have a feeling you wouldn't be very content with Mother 3 then.

Anyways, I think it's a very solid and good main theme, screams Nintendo more than the others that's for sure.
