Im 21 years old living in Houston, Texas playing melee! I just picked it up about 4 maybe 5 weeks ago and I grinded my heart out on Falco until I found my love in the Playstyle of Falcon.
The community of smash is one of the main reasons I actually started playing and the main reason I'm here
. I'm looking forward to going to tournaments and chilling and playing some smash.
With that being said I need advice from you fellow smashers. I've been playing with a group of friends but it's gotten the Point where I can basically read everything that they do now because they are spam happy guys and do not vary their Playstye (aerial spam on luigi and forward smash spam on Marth) I've tried to give them advice but they continue to be scrubs. When I play them I try not to shield or spot dodge their attacks so they don't feel bad but I feel like I can't keep improving playing like this because I can never try hard against them. Since I always know what's coming ...Any advice?!?
Also they get salty fast so I can't just always beat them, my friend broke his controller after I beat him with a reverse knee...
