The weekends get a bit boring, so I thought that I would make a commentary on some of the more overlooked portions of the game: the music. For me, being a musician, I enjoy the music greatly. So I have decided to take a deeper look at one of the older music updates:
Song of Storms:
The strings take over and give a soring melody that gives the image of wide open plains. The snare and shakers continue to play in the background. As the strings take off the brass gives the up-beats ans drives the tempo forward. This gives the imagery of the Hylian fields that Link traveled on.
Epona's Song:

Song of Time:
The song is completely rearranged. The quarters at the end have been turned to eights, and the tempo has been kicked up. It could be said that the selection was "marching band-ified" if you catch my drift. The melody is found in the low brass. The background contains the snare and shaker still along cords by a piano. The music is now like a fanfare in comparison to the chants heard in the Temple of Time. This section sets the mood for the next one.
Saria's Song:
This 'movement' of the selection has been completely redone. The fickle tune has been turned into a very war-like piece. The melody comes from the low brass still with a trumpet on top. The snare and shaker are gone and in its place is the rumble of a bass drum and bass voice. Along with it the strings have dramatic running lines that continue to give the song momentum until it get to the climax of the song with an entire orchestrated sound.
Zelda's Lullaby:
After the tension of the last few movements, the final tune relieves it. The piccolo/ocarina gets the melody again along with the starting instruments in the aftermath of the battle.
There are also bridges between the different portions of the song. The Bolero of Fire is present at one point in the begining.
Hope you all enjoyed reading. I'll be posting more music topics soon!
