The most annoying character? The most UU character? The most OU character? Prediction

The most annoying character in Brawl: SONIC. Holy **** he looks fast and his moves look just downright cheap. Isnt one of his moves when he turns into a ball and just pummels the most nearby person? He looks cheap, fast, and worst of all EVERYONES gonna want to play as him.

Most UU character: Either Pokemon Trainer or P&O. I think, from what I have gathered from my friends and some people online, is that Pokemon Trainer and P&O look pretty difficult to master. You know the old saying, that Ski's are easy to learn, hard to master and Snowboards are hard to learn, easy to master? Well I think Pokemon Trainer and P&O are the Ski's. (this is just from people I know, not from all of you.)

Most OU character: Meta Knight and once again, Sonic. Meta Knight looks kickass, and a lot of people I know say theyre going to main him. And Sonic, well, I just think all the hype for him being in this game will skyrocket him to the top of the most OU list.

So, these are my predictions, what are yours?

OU; MK or diddy as there both fast and new but i can see diddy usage going down overtime but not by me but i have this weird thing where i dont like being similar so diddy will be annoying in that sense

Erm, i think you've misunderstood the concept of a tier list. The tier list reflects the metagame for specific characters, and has little reflection as to how often they're used. The ice climbers can be wonderful, but very few players use them successfully. Just look on a tournament level, not many people have mastered them to the level of someone like wobbles.

Really? Looks like it does a lot of missing due to the fact that most of the people we see playing suck.. But my most annoying would... Eh maybe be Olimar.. With all the Pikmin flying everywhere.

I think PT might be use quite frequently and P&O will get their fair share of plays. So much people wanted him in I'm pretty sure they would use him.

The UU might possibly be.. Well I can't be sure, every one seems like they would get used. And since we don't have the full roster I can't make some better assumptions.

I based it that on the number of people on the boards who are looking to use peach before other characters (Which truly isnt that many) and also the number of people in my area who used peach in Melee (which was, actually, none unfortunately)

I'm trying to not count anyone out mainly because this is Sakurai's 3rd time around and it's been seven years since Melee. I think balance is going to be pretty tight. most annoying: sonic or Pokemon trainer. sonic for hs speed, pokemon trainer for the fact that he has three different fighting styles.
under used: probably wario or ike. wario for his...."humor" as the seven year olds call it and Ike for his absolute lack of speed.
Over used: sonic and metaknight. these are givens and I will have to get used to them fast so they wont be s big of a hastle to fight.

Most annoying: Sonic. Not only will he be in every single online match, and havecacter: cheap moves... He also has that annoying zzzzzzz sound in ike every special! That's what'll annoy me the most.

UU characters: I bet Wario, Dedede, and Ice Climbers. I plan on using Dedede as my secodary and used IC as my mains in melee, but none of these three have gained enough hype to be one of the overly used characters. Also, and sadly, Yoshi. A very good character if used right but no ne gives the time to learn how to use him.

OU Character:Meta Knight, Sonic, and Fox. Purely because of speed. Those tier following people that use those characters in top tier, not cause they like the character, will prolly see these three on some fake tier under "god-tier" and think "Ima pwn some newbs with these characters I see all over the place. For the record... TIERS DON'T EXIST ANYMORE!!

I think the big issue people are missing here are this:
Most of the people saying they'll main Sonic probably have no experience control anything as fast as him. It will be a few easy wins for their opponets because they can't effectively use Sonic and then they'll switch.
I on the other hand am very comfortable with C.Falcon, Falco, Fox so that really won't be problematic for me.
And yes, initially Sonic and MK will be the most OU characters.

All the Sonic hate in here is bumming me out. I think most of the people saying he's most annoying are just following the OP. Seriously, jump off the bandwagon, kids.

And since when did getting used a lot become synonymous with "annoying"? For almost all the people who said he was most annoying, one of the reasons that was given was "he'll be used in every match." That makes him overused (or just sweet), not an annoyance.

Sorry for the rant. It's just, I'm already seeing my favorite character in Brawl getting a bad name, and most if not all of the people in this thread haven't even played the game.
