Hello everyone! I've never started a thread before....not been very talkative since I signed up.
Anyway,
See, my girlfriend and I both really like Smash. However while we both play competitively, I'm without a doubt better then she is (and those are her words, not mine. I try to stay encouraging.) and so she's trying new things.
On March 7th, she's holding a small Smash 4 tournament that I've already signed up for. But I had an idea...
I've told her about FalcoMaster3000 before and we both find him pretty hype. And I joked about entering the tournament in disguise, but dismissed the idea, which makes this a bit hard....
See, I want to experiment and try something similar, but in an online environment (as the tournament is online), as I'm fairly confident I can win this tournament. (Although I'd need to back out of the tournament, but say I can still make it to the chat)
So I need some help working this whole thing out. What I've got worked out so far is -
1) The NNID/Name, for now, is "cadfan". This gives SOME hint as to who it is, "Cadfan" is a "welsh name composed of the elements cad "battle" and fan(g) "raven," hence "battle raven." " and my name is Raven. However if anyone can think of another name (I'm a Falcon main but FalconMaster3000 seemed too obvious) it'd be taken into consideration.
2) The tournament will be using a Chatzy chat room. I will enter it both through my laptop as "Cadfan" and my phone as myself, so I can talk to myself.
3) The Mii will be the default male Mii (although making Cadfan female could help make myself less suspicious), it is unedited, and named "Mii." Cadfan will have only bought a Wii U for Smash Brothers.
4) I will not be using any of my usual character pallets, and I may not use Captain Falcon/my other best characters unless necessary.
There are some benefits that make the "Living Legend" experiment easier to do online, but also some that make it harder, and even a bit less hype-worthy. And to be completely honest, I may not even go though with it. But it's fun to toss the idea around.
