The King from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance, I think it is King Gashnard, is seen sitting in a throne in the background of the second art of the fre emblem stage, which means he is probably not going to be an AT or PC.

That's not King Ashnard. It's just a king in dark armor. Practically every evil king in Fire Emblem, even if they're casters, have dark armor.

However, I really doubt Ashnard will appear anywhere besides maybe a viewable trophy. I'm sure if Mr. Sakurai wanted a villian from Fire Emblem, he'd take the more flexible and popular Black Knight.
