Both my brother and myself are amateur players at best, and today we were messing around and playing agaisnt each other's mains.

His: Falco, Marth, Ness
Mine: Dr. Mario, Zelda/Sheik, Pichu

Anyways, we were showing each other moves and combos and what not and I was trying to explain to him why Falco was such high tier. (As if that needs much explaining...)
I bring up pillaring and he asks how to do it. So I grab Ness, and he snags Falco, and we're off to Final D and I run him down the basics of it. He starts to pillar me (sloppily) and he just starts laughing. Like not "lol" or chuckling or anything, like straight out serious-for-real-laughing.
"That's so cool."

Point of discussion:

Falco, how you be so good?

Pillaring is a highly skilled technique involved placing a lot of pressure on another players shield until a) it is broken or b) a hit will land thru their small shield.

Multiple players have pillars, such as Peach and Falco.
Falco's most obvious combo is the same one used to pillar opponents. (Dair > l-cancel > shine > repeat)

They are two different things. Please use the term correctly. And yes, I love Falco as much as you do. =)

Pillaring is really easy to do. There are tons of varieties of pillaring for different results. And usually the end of a pillar is the other person escaping, via roll. less common are shieldshines, and shieldgrabs, but both are more common that shieldbreaks.
