Hello, my name is frameJesus and I'm a ZSS player in SSB4.

I've been playing this game for almost a year and competitively for like 4 months now. I'm at that point where I'm trying to optimize my gameplay as much as possible. As a ZSS player, I'm mastering her aproaching tricks and aerial combos, and while doing so, I came across a discussion with my training team: The C-STICK usage. My friend, who is a Captain Falcon/Pikachu main claims that using the C-STICK to perform aerial combos is the best way to juggle and get b-airs, and that's something that I don't really use in my gameplay. I don't think that I struggle very much while doing aerial combos, but I found out that it was really easier - to me - using the C-STICK to do short hop>neutral air>fast fall. While I'm thinking about ways to train the usage of this button (which was completly forgotten in my controller), I wish to know your opinions (and suggestions) about this issue.

What do you guys use and how do (or did) you train to use the C-STICK? Is it really the most optimal way to play the game?

PS:. I know that it might end up being a personal choice, but I really wanna know what the community thinks about optimization.
PS2:. I use the C-STICK with tilts \o

Urgh, playing Smash 3DS for a long time makes me seldom use C stick once I get to play the Wii U version.

I had change C stick control from Smash to tilts, but so far it didn't go well. I notice that if you just slightly tilt the C stick it will still do neutral jabs rather than tilts, or I even input wrong tilts...
