The Illustrated Guide to DI

When I wanted to understand DI, I found myself reading Doraki's famous guide, and a lot of disparate posts by Magus. Though they are precise and technical, and I'm very grateful to their authors, I think they are quite hard to get a grasp on because of the way the information is presented.

This is why I made a visual guide so that I can have all the information in the same place, and with a clean presentation. I hope it will be helpful for others. Please tell me your opinion, or if you think there is any mistake.

great work!
except that it says "SDI is always better except when you"...and then it doesnt say anything more. im assuming its going to say when you want to tech the ground. you should fix that.

It's a good summary for people who are familiar with the concepts already, but I don't think it's a good teaching tool.

Nice and precise, though, except for the unfinished end part.

The mistake is fixed, thank you guys.

@Phoenix~Lament: this guide is intended to act like some kind of cheatsheet. The aim is not to teach DI—I think a video would be the good way to do that—but rather to centralize valid information, and make it clear, so that you don't have to reread disparate posts everywhere, and try to make a map in you head that shows which DI does what, and when it happens, and which sticks are involved, etc.

I believe the last sentence is a typo. SDI is always better except when you want to tech on the floors (and ledges) because ASDI is not allowed to help you hug them.

@Vro: the statement is correct I believe. It's SDI that can't help you hug floors. That's why the famous "double-sticks DI" uses the C-stick to ASDI down in order to tech on the floor.
