It's been almost 20 days since I last walked the dead streets of my friend Amsah's hometown Gein, in suburbian Amsterdam. Every day I stay awake now, restless, thinking about how much fun it was. How amazing everything about Europe was. My head spins just thinking about it. At the same time I miss it so much more. I miss Europe so much that I'm even speaking German, Dutch, Russian, and French while in my household. It's rediculous, and I'm sure the other people in my house agree.

From my first step outside of the closed in doors of the Dutch Airplane I rode in, I could tell this would be the greatest thing I would ever do in my life, something I would never forget. Truely a life experience. And when I made that step, and left the arrivals area, the cold, brisk air of the Netherlands was fresh in my mouth. It was so much more alive, more clean than the air of Florida, let alone America.

As I met Fabian Verdam, the person who made this all possible, I could feel a shiver come down my spine. I was finally in Amsterdam. I couldn't believe it. Everything seemed like a dream, but it was my dream. Completely mine. I engulfed myself in a realm of happiness that I haven't felt since my days with Dad and Mom as a child celebrating Christmas. Even that can't compare to this.

After my first 24 hours or so in the Netherlands, I was able to see so much already. The air was even more fresh than I imagined. As I took a sip of water from Amsah's sink, the water created an odd sensation on my taste buds. This was not ordinary water. This was the greatest water I had ever tasted. As if it couldn't get better, even the water was better. Simply amazing. I was drinking from his sink like a starved plant. The water was 1000 times better than any bottled water here. No wonder nobody bought water in the Netherlands.

Finally, we were on our way to Bremen, Germany. Fabian, Adam, Amsah, Miguel, and Remen. This was my first time meeting European "Smashers", and I was amazed at how kind they were. It was as if they were from a different planet. The kindess of these people was ushering from their voice. I hadn't been treated so well before in my life. I was truely their guest from a place from afar.

As we reached Germany, I felt the same feeling I did once coming to Amsterdam. As if I had just left hyperspace and was about to land on a new system. It was truely great. After the long, 7 and a half hour bus ride, my body was sore and tired. I was anxious to leave this boring prison and come to see the new land I would walk upon for the next 4 days or so. The city of bremen was beautiful, and I was entranced at how many people walked the streets infront of me. It was as if I was in New York all over again. A dream come true. After a discussion between the group of us, I was informed we would be waiting a good 3 hours or so, not including the 10 minute walk to the venue from the train station. I must wait longer to compete with these new people.
