This a thread dedicated to taking a fresh air from all the disappointment, the hatred, the complaining, arguing, ect that is SO common place on Smashboards. It's time to express our gratitude towards Smash Bros. 3DS and what we enjoy. Too often we look at the bad and what's missing with the game. We are SO focused on mundane things and nitpick like crazy, making it difficult to appreciate all this game has to offer. And because of this, our eyes are blinded to what is really in front of us due to skewed perspectives and negativity from others and ourselves. This in turn makes it difficult to appreciate what we got and I feel it's time we showed a little love to the underdog of the two versions. So please, feel free to express your love, appreciation and gratitude about the 3DS version of Smash Bros, because it's about time we stop looking at everything we didn't get or aren't getting and start focusing on how amazing it is that we can play Smash Bros. anywhere we want to go! <3

I couldn't agree more. Already, I've had so much fun with the game and made loads of new memories with my friends. The game evokes so much nostalgia from me! I grew up with Melee, and this game has truly made me appreciate the work Sakurai and his team have put into the game. It's astounding that the 3DS can run this, and is a true achievement. People say all the time about Nintendo going downhill, but when you look at games like Smash 3DS, Link Between Worlds, Mario Kart 8 and even how things are looking for Splatoon and the upcoming Zelda Wii U title, this could not be further from the truth.

But getting back to Smash, for me it really is the most imaginative, fun, and fair Smash to date. The online is really good for me, the stages are beautiful, the collection of music is masterful and don't get me started on the newcomers - I love them!! The overall feel of the game is perfect, and in that sense, I couldn't have hoped for anything better.

Y'know for some reason Positivity threads don't go very far compared to Negativity threads. People love to complain.

I really love the portability. I like that it's on a handheld, it feels natural to me. I don't really like the Wii and won't get a Wii U and I'm just grateful the option of 3DS was given to us at all. I love all the new features. I played a lot of Melee in my childhood and compared to that, 3DS has so much more to offer, it's incredible.

From the get-go, all I wanted was Palutena. It sounds silly in hindsight, what with the rallying cries of "Sakurai bias" and "best waifu" being bandied about, and people will try to ensure me that she was never not going to be in the game. But as I was, naive and sheltered from the truths of the wide open world, I made a promise that, if Palutena is playable in the game, I will accept anything and everything else Sakurai does in the game.

I stand by that. Everything else is just so much peaches and cream - and yet, my goodness gracious me, but they are delicious peaches and cream.

You can literally play Smash anywhere and with other people if they happen to have a copy beside you.

Each character feels balanced and unique to cater to those with similar or different playstyles in the cast. For example Sm4sh is the first in the entire series which not only made me pick someone over Mario to main, but FOUR to boot (pun not intended).

Sure, the roster caters to everyone...except Metroid fans, DK fans, Mother fans, Starfox fans, Metal Gear fans, Ice Climbers fans...

This is not the thread for that. Come on, don't bring that kind of negativity into a thread designed for positivity.

-Master Core. I can't express this enough about this. A worthy boss in smash.
-Colors, I do like a lot of the different colors for characters and alts too!
-All Star. Classic mode and it really stays classic. It is cool to see that you unlock the real version once you collect all characters.
-Guest fighters. Pac, Megaman, Sonic all together in smash blew my mind since they are my childhood.
New modes- some modes didn't make it but we have new modes and they are fun and a nice addition to smash.
-Trophy Shop. I just like buying trophies even though I could unlock them by playing classic or other modes.
-Expanded online play. Lot more things to do online which is always fun.
-Mii. You can make your own fighter. Who doesn't want to make your own fighter?
-Custom moves. Expands a variety of moves and use them instead of their original moves. Too bad you only can use them when yku turn on the customized option.
-Music. Game has great music and you can listen to them like an ipod if you wanted to.
-Multi-Man Rival Smash. My favorite mode for multi man.

I actually like Smash Run! I don't care if the battles at the end are random... that's not important... I just like to use my characters and beat up enemies all over this giant labyrinth and collect colorful stat boosts... I don't even mind that it is not online. I wouldn't like the online lag anyway.

I am so happy that the 15-Minute Smash is finally gone!!! I HATED that mode in Melee and Brawl... I really hope it isn't in Smash U.

Oh, and I love the newcomers!! I love them all!! Sure, there are some characters I would have liked to be in Smash but there's always DLC and SSB5. I am willing to overlook Lucina and Dark Pit because the other newcomers are incredibly unique!

I didn't intend to get Smash for 3ds, but I'm so glad I did. I also look forward to using my 2ds as a controller for the Wii U version. Even though I'm not one for custom moves and definitely not equipment, the feeling of transferring my miis over gives me the same childlike wonder of the Pokemon Stadium games back in the day and seeing the mons I trained come to life on the big screen.

I'll probably use the Mii fighters on the 3ds version more than the Wii U version because it makes it feel more personal for some reason. Probably because I've downloaded way too many of other people's Miis off the Warawara plaza rather than just keeping it to friends, family, and my favorite TV characters.

*sigh* Please don't bring your negativity into a topic specifically designed around being positive. Create your own thread for such talk. This thread is ALL about being grateful and positive so please respect that and keep your comments as such. Thank you.

Well, my main Pit has a really nice model (I think he looks even better than he did in Uprising), with the larger boots and gloves, he looks a lot more mascot-ish now. They also improved his animations a lot.

They removed tripping so that is a plus.

That's about it.

Omega mode don't know if a grown to hate stages or what, but a lot of stages get hard to see with more the 2 people on the screen and I'll admit some hazards suck eggs. (damn reset forest)

The Music Dr .Mario is such a awesome fight song on one of my favorite stages too.

Kinda sad you felt the need to make this not even 2 months out, people need to chill the hell out.

Things I want to add to my previous post.
-Having a selection of music while you play smash run. It's the small things that count. Live & Learn and Minor Curcuit really puts me up to the mood to own everything.
-Stage Bosses. Some people may not like them but I do like them. Reminds of of Brawl's bosses but easier and it is rewarding to defeat them and use their defeats as an advantage.
-Past stages. I like that we still have stages from Brawl and even Melee. Jungle Japes has slowly became on of my favorites due to the fact it has been in smash since melee. It is also interesting to see their omega forms (although corneria looks completely different). I actually like 3ds past stages better than what I see from Wii U's version mostly because they seem to redo the stages textures (Hyrule Temple) while I just like it originally.

I love the character balance of this game. Even characters I thought were bad (Ike Ganon) have wrecked me at one point or another so It's nice to know that no character is truly bad.

Master Core: OMG THIS BOSS IS MY second GREATEST LOVE IN SMASH 4. This boss is so epic and glorious. I absolutely love it.

Final Destination: Every smash game's Final Destination is epic in some fashion but this game....... OMG THIS EPIC SCALE WITH THE EPIC MUSIC! I can't get enough of this stage. From what I little I saw, the Wii U version will be at least twice as epic so I cant wait for that.

I love the new characters, the addition of alternate special moves, the alternate outfits, how quickly online matches get started, the separation of characters like Charizard and ZSS, having two stocks per match in Classic, and the features that the Wii U version will have.

I love that they manage to get megaman in the game. He may not have the best moveset but the amount of love put into his moveset and trailer makes me really happy.

Thank you Sakurai for creating a portable Smash Bros.
Sure I will never play it outside of my room, but thanks anyway!

Oh and it helped the wait for Sm4sh U a couple of weeks, so there's that! Sure after the 50-fact extravaganza, playing Sm4sh 3DS feels like getting thrown back all the way to Melee, but thanks anyway!

Portable, great roster, MEWTWO, and quite addicting.

And I haven't even begun to gush yet.
