What does the "css fixes for giga bowser" code do exactly? is it just a final smash fix to prevent freezing? Or does it allow one to get a css with giga bowser as a playable character?

You use that code if you want to add giga bowser to your css (Character Select Screen). It must be used along with a variety of other codes.
