I realize Wolf has his super large thread, but basically, I didn't wanna read 161 pages. And I used the search for Falco threads, and didn't get much. However, I wanna know what their potential differences are going to be, if both are to make it in. Essentially, they may get in each other's way, as I think 3 furry critters with lasers might be a bit much. I always thought Andross would've been a better StarFox villain choice, but that is not to be, for he has been doomed to the fate of an AT. Krystal wouldn't negate either of them either because of her staff.
So how do we decide who gets what, in regards to special moves? I haven't played Command because I'm not much for handheld games, so maybe there's some content in there that could be used, but based on Assault, it's pretty hard to give both good movesets, unless Wolf is just given completely original moves like the 64 Fox. I say Wolf because I always imagined this to be the new Falco moveset because I think Falco has priority over Wolf, being in Melee, so he should have first dibs on the Assault weaponry.
B: Blaster. Much like Melee, slower but more powerful than Fox's.
B>: Sniper. Falco gets on one knee and brings out the sniper, and holds this stance. Then move the control stick to move the aim of the sniper, instead of the crosshairs idea I've seen mentioned. I think it should just be a hit or miss, not a full out actual sniper. Nobody else gets to pinpoint their moves like that. You then press B while in stance to fire. Press B> again to exit the stance. Or you get out of it if you're hit. Also, you can change directions while in the stance with the control stick also (or however you choose to move, I suppose), but that's all the moving he can do while using the Sniper.
B^: Falco Illusion. Same concept as Melee, only vertical instead of horizontal. Falco is a bird you know, so his should be aerial.
BV: Grenade. Hold down the BV to increase how far you throw it. Or eventually you'll wait so long so that it'll throw on it's own, but by that point it will explode in the air, which may or may not be helpful. Otherwise it explodes when it makes contact with something. I don't count this a projectile, so it would counter Fox's reflector, but it doesn't have to.
The problem here is I've also seen the sniper and of course a 3rd blaster for Wolf. I suppose a 3rd blaster wouldn't be out of the question, since that's the big thing of StarFox. But they can't both have the Sniper. So who gets it, who doesn't, what are the alternative weapons. Maybe I just haven't thought of all the weapons, but I don't see both characters being able to have original movesets.
I apologize if all this has been answered on like page 2 of the Wolf thread, and for being so long-winded.
