alot of people have been saying it would happen, and it it finallly has
lucas has been announced in brawl, and one can only assume that he arrives as nesses replacment

There are a lot of characters in the earthbound/mother series, and it would make sense if there are a few more in BRAWL.

I'm not sure if he will replace Ness or join him. The only thing that gives a hint is Sakurai's last sentence "Is it possible he can surpass even Ness?!". Keyword: Surpass. Sounds like a replacement so far.
