Okay, the title of this thread is intentionally a little silly, but I just wanted to let you guys know about this cable (http://www.turtlebeach.com/product-detail/cables-parts/35mm-female-to-rca-stereo-splitter-cable/99) that is pretty rad. It splits the game audio so it comes through the TV, but also to a headphone jack. I've been using one just because I like to use audio cues from the game and cut out outside distractions. People have complained recently about too much outside influence on the competitors in high level tournament play, and many have said that headphones with game sound could be a solution. While there are CRTs with headphone jacks, this is a simpler solution in my opinion because you can use it on any TV. So, with two of them, you could have both players getting direct game audio with this setup: wii/gamecube cables > splitter > splitter > (recording device) > tv
