so im no diddy main but i have noticed something intriguing

i decided to chose diddy for lulz against one player in 4glory who was okay average.

but when i chose diddy he completely changed his play style. i could tell he was very afraid me when he saw me chose diddy. but i was so bad at it i couldnt even get the banana + throw follow ups at first, yet still i could tell how careful he is playing just because i chose the "best character in the game".

so if youre not a diddy player try it and maybe you'll see the same result

and if you happen to run into a diddy in 4g, dont start panicking. to make it easy imagine you're fighting something like lmac or falco

I've found that having confidence when versing a Diddy is always the best way to go. Let them have their options, and show off your own. Even if you lose, know you fought well!

To be fair, good players will do this to every character. Just like you wouldn't try to camp a ROB with a jiggly puff or stay directly above a pikachu.

But you are absolutely right that the amount of damage (in terms of percent and ko's) that diddy can inflict from even minor spacing errors is far from balanced, so people are much more careful against him

yeah true.

also i used to think that diddy was kinda cheap but trying him made me realize he is a very technical character while also fun to use so i guess ill be trying to get better with him but mainly just for 4Fun. it will also help me fight other diddys
