The Demon Kirby Tier List.

(I could not find another thread on this, so don't comment on it)


After seeing multiple gameplay videos, I have decided on a somewhat stable tier list.


Low Tier

Lucas:

Comments: If Lucas takes too heavily from Ness, he may very well be a low tier character. However, he seems to have a moveset that makes up for what Ness lacked the most. I'll push him up to middle tier, and maybe even high tier, if he gets a recovery move.

Kirby:

Comments: Based on what I've seen, Kirby has gotten stronger, but not enough to become middle tier. I'll change this once I find proof if he's gotten any heavier/more powerful.


Middle Tier

Wario:

Comments: His B move, it charged up enough, seems to be capeable of being an additional jump. However, he's somewhat slow, but makes up for this in having a low knockback and heavy wieght.

Bowser:

Comments: As seen in this picture,

His attacks have gotten a much larger reach. Thus making him move up a tier. Also, heavy characters have had lowered knockback, and seeing how Bowser is the heaviest (With the exception of maybe King DeDeDe or Ridley if they get in) character.

Ice Climbers:

Comments: I have seen nothing to change my opinon of them.

Pikachu:

See above.

DK:

See bowser. Additionaly, his down B is now a lot more powerful.

Mario:

Comments: Obviously. He's not heavy nor light, powerful nor weak, etc.

Yoshi:

Comments: Exremely unstable opinion here. As soon as I see his up B in action, I'll probaly change it.

Zelda:

Comment: Down B please.

Pikachu:

Comments: Have we seen anything to change our minds?

High Tier:

Everybody knows why the characters that are high tier are high tier, so I'll just cover the newbies.

Ike:

Comments: He's badass. Just watch videos with him in the fight and you'll see.

Snake:

Comments: He's powerful, fast(ish) and has the third best up B for recovery.

Zamus:

Comments:

Pit:

Comments: He appears to be powerful. He also has the second best up B in the game

Diddy Kong:

Comments: Dancing on the edge of high tier, jsut above middle tier.

Pokemon Trainer:

Comments: Mostly it's Charizard that effected my decision on this. Charizard might have a very good up B, as he has the ability to fly.

Sonic:

Comments: Duh.



God Tier:

Meta Knight:


Comments: With his side B, nuetral B, and Up B all able to be used as a recovery move, and the ability to fly, PLUS multiple jumps, he's almost impossible to knock off the stage. Additionaly, he's almost as fast as Captain Falcon. Also, his side B does a simply unreal amount of damage for 1, almost instant attack.

I am 9.9999999999999% sure MEta Knight will be toned down, if only a little bit, by the games actual release.

you listed pikachu twice. a little early list, though good and from what we can tell seemingly accurate. plus bowser has a new side b, some grab/bodyslam/wrestling move.

Well, I did like Fox and Falco. It seems like Sonic is like a combination of Yoshi, Falco, and Captain Falcon.

It's WAY too ealry for this. What videos are you basing your Kirby observation off of? He wan't playable at the demo.

Plus most of your rankings are based on how much you like the character. Absolute FAIL.

It is completely impossible to make a tier list at this point. How you put Lucas on here when we've only seen him in video form for less than second is just dumb.

This is not Melee. The list will be different. They also delayed it, which means more balance.

Being "Badass" doesn't make one higher tier either. If being badass mattered on the tier list, Kirby would be #1.

Goin' by what I see, and updatin' 'em the ways I sees 'em.

And @Conker1, Ike is just generaly a high tier character because he has long ranged sword attacks and appears to be very powerful.

No.. Come on Kirby, you can do it! return to God Tier Status! or atleast middle tier :/

Maybe you can suck up MetaKnight and steal his fast sword abilities?
