So many of you may be aware that there is a glitch on Smash for Wii U where by using amiibo and a desyncable controller you can control multiple characters. It is a fun glitch to play about with, and I occasionally use it to play a doubles-like game in friendlies (me and a friend would play two characters against each other, almost like an Ice Climbers ditto).

This isn't even actually such a game-breaking glitch. I would personally say it is more of a beneficial exploit. It's a little random, but do you think it will be fixed?

Hopefully not, I'm having too much fun with it. :p

However some moves do cause a bit of (sometimes quite heavy) lag to the game though when paused so I suppose there may be potential of the game crashing and due to that getting patched or something.

But for now, it seems to be a pretty harmless but fun little glitch so it probably won't. Then again, they patched the massive character glitch in the 3DS version whilst leaving the Corneria explosion glitch be so who knows I guess.....

I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo considers this as a low-priority fix, so I'm hoping to experiment with it more. I have been able to use it to control a pair of clone characters simultaneously to help study their differences. It can also be handy for determining how much a minor change in equipment does to one character's speed at a glance.

Speaking of controller glitches, I'm still waiting for them to fix the Y button glitch in Mario Kart 8 that causes Y to act as both accelerator and map toggle when changing to a different controller than the one that started the game. They also have error messages that cannot be dismissed with the Pro controller in that game, forcing one to power cycle the console if the Gamepad is nowhere nearby (which is often for me.) But then again, Smash is updated far more often, so who knows?
