I know that changing replacing textures doesn't cause any desyncs on netplay. But if I were to replace audio files in game would that cause desyncs with other players?

hey guys do you know where most of the hps offsets are in the 20XX 4.05 iso? in DTW and GCR it dosent show certain hps. such as yoshis story or brinstar depths or the main menu and i wanna add different songs into my 20XX, any idea where i can find a list of where there all listed in the 20XX iso?

If you want to add music into 20XX, follow this guide. Then you can just set the inserted music to a specific stage or playlist. Just keep in mind that the guide is from version 4.0, and more songs have been added. As far as the songs from the main game, like Yoshi's Story and Brinstar Depths, I would just extract the root and look through all the songs in the audio folder using a program like Winamp. It's not the fastest way, but you're bound to find them after some searching.

hello, I have a question, I have not seen this topic for some time, I see that the hps are no longer made for a specific stage(old_kb.hps for example). how can I apply them without exceeding the size of the iso?

Is it possible to avoid crackling and popping? I've been using dsp2hps but all of them seem to exhibit crackling. It's not that bad when it's off a speaker, but it's very noticeable when I'm wearing headphones. The source files are .flac, that I edit in audacity for the custom loop, and export to .wav if that's important.

EDIT: Primarily asking because it's been a long time since I made custom tracks, so I've got a backlog of stuff from early 2017 that I probably should release. But if they can be redone without crackling I'd rather wait 'til I get them all fixed up.

dsp2hps dev here, there's no known issues regarding audio fidelity. can you sanity check for me and confirm that your input files sound okay in the computer? also send zip up your problematic HPS outputs and attach/link them here, in case I have a chance to take a look
