The Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh needs teens (12-18) to join the 412 Brawl Team!

Hi folks,

My name is Joseph, and I'm a teen librarian at the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. We've challenged the Teen department of the Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County to an online tournament, to be held next Friday, 8/22 @ 3:00 PM. We still need a few more teens (about 2-3) to round out our team and up our prospects for victory. Or, if you're not a teen but know somebody who would fit the bill, please feel free to refer them to me.

While we aren't offering any prizes, we are battling for respect and televising the entire tournament online on the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh's website (a few press releases have already been sent out, so we'll hopefully have a bunch of viewers). You'll also get to come to our big End of Summer Party, to be held immediately afterward.

no joke tho that brawl mix beat is hot. I should go to this just to learn how to mix such a hot beat.

EDIT: them lyrics kinda sucked but w/e y'all did what y'all could. The instrumental itself was amazing tho. I really wanna learn how to do that sort of mixing. dayum you should upload that instrumental

Thanks, SwiftBass. I actually produced that beat myself. I'll see what I can do about uploading an instrumental for anyone who wants to put together their own mix. Writing lyrics about Brawl ended up being a lot harder than I thought it would be (I'm the last verse on the track). Everything I could come up sounded corny as h377 (an initial rhyme was "I'mma sneak at you wit Pikachu cause I'm that frightening / come up off dat edge and I'mma make it rain lightning"). Honestly, I'd love to hear what happens when somebody flows nice with it, so please feel free to post any examples in this thread.

(I don't get the RATM joke. Brawls on Parade?)
