I've been really wanting to practice art more lately, but I find it's tough to get into the groove of things. It's amazing how much drawing a skeleton helps you with anatomy. On a different note, I found this huge art table in very decent shape on my street. It was getting thrown out, so I got it for free. I love New York City.
I tried drawing the dogs a bit at my work when they're all settled and sleeping. It sucks, though, because obviously they're going to move(like when someone enters the room), and I'm pretty noob at drawing from life.
Top's a Staffordshire Bull Terrier(not to be confused with an American Staffordshire). Hardly drawn at all since he moved fairly quickly. Middle's a Boxer. That picture look cartoony(what I'm used to drawing). The bottom is a dachshund that was laying in my lap with his head curled under him. I like him all except for his hind legs. He moved before I could really draw them, so I kinda guessed badly(and drawing with only pen means, oops! Can't fix it!).
I'll finish my post with a flying fox(sorry if this causes a thread stretch):
I'm not going to bother pointing out mistakes in this guy. I drew him on a ****ty monitor(with a basic grasp of photoshop)so his colors are off when viewed with an LCD screen.
