personally i really hope a demo doesnt come out for brawl. first of all its because if a demo came out and we'd only have limited characters. then that's so many characters that arent new to us when we first get brawl you know. and until brawl actually comes out. we'll have already out played some levels. and mastered some characters. it's like releasing half of brawl and then releasing the full thing in february.

I see what you're saying, so i think it would be better if instead of half of the game, have it down to what the demo at E for All has. This leaves a whole lot of game to be played and discovered.

I say yes to a demo though, a little brawl is better than none

That should be entirely on the player's decision. If a demo is released, play it or not. If you want a fresh experience, just wait for February.
Do whatever fits you best.

I'm sorry dude, but what gives? Why worry about a demo? It is what it sounds like-a demo.

You're supposed to have fun with it. Live a little! It's not like it's gonna ruin your experience with the real thing when it comes out, right?

Of course, there's no point to argue since there's no demo out yet:)

I've been playing Melee for six years now and I haven't mastered any character or outplayed any level. I doubt Brawl is so shallow that a character could be mastered or a level outplayed in just a few months after its (demo) release.

It is a demo

"then that's so many characters that arent new to us when we first get brawl you know. and until brawl actually comes out."

Hmmm... i already know about Sonic, Red, Snake, Lucas and the game isn't out yet.

Half of brawl.... hmmm sounds like Smash Bros Melee.

Rawr, this thread is epic fail.

Honestly...I just would not play it? It's not like Nintendo is forcing you to do so, and it's really going to help the game in the long run. More publicity, as well as the reviews on what to improve. With the feedback, Sakurai can make the game better. Plus, this is all we have for a fair while, what with the new date.

Lol yes indeed this thread was woven together with threads of fail (that joke in itself is a prime example of fail lol)

Seriously though, the only reason you're posting this is because the idea of a demo is so popular that you have to hate on it. That is just really childish. Its no different than the people who claimed to hate Sonic during the Sonic hype days or the people that hate FF7 because its so hyped or the people who hate Halo because its so big. I could go on and on and on and on but I wont.

I'll just say that if you don't like the idea of a demo don't play it (if it ever sees the hands of the public) if you're so concerned with keeping the game secret then stop going to the Dojo and the forums.
