Does anyone here play sm4sh on the 2DS as well? I have both, and I was just wondering if anyone disregarded the fact that it was designed for kids not to have eye complications while playing. In my experience with playing it on the 2DS, I'd like to say that it feels better to hold while playing. Flipping the grab/shield triggers helped me play with more dexterity and I think I'm faster on the 2DS than I am on the 3DS (how? I dunno). But again, I was just wondering if anyone doesn't think the 2DS is a load of garbage.

I have never feel the 2DS, and I will not buy one, since it doesn't have 3D.
If 2DS is your choice, I'm fine with that.

I respect that. Most of the people around me don't even use the 3D on their 3DS's which I think kinda defeats the purpose of buying one.

I can't play on the 2DS. It feels like I'm playing on my phone, if I put triggers on the back of it. I do not think it's a load of garbage however. One of my good friends plays on 2DS, and he is decent (but he plays :4littlemac: and :GCR::GCB: off the edge) but his is all stiff because he spray painted it and the buttons have deteriorated a bit because he plays Pokemon competitively. His 2DS is the only experience I've had with it, so it may be a bit biased toward a bad system. I don't ever plan on getting a 2DS as it is way too large to carry around with me. However, I don't judge people because of their controllers, so if you use the 2DS and you can play, that's awesome.

I really like the 2DS. I like how I can wrap my hands around the whole sides of the system instead of just holding the bottom half. The shoulder buttons feel a little more like those of a normal controller than the 3DS's do. The screens are also slightly closer together, which makes checking damage a little easier.

But I still use 3D when not playing Smash, or watching replays and take 3D snapshots.
2DS looks nice, but it's a bit hard to protect the screen since you can't fold it up.

Lol I actually had a friend who broke the top screen by sitting on it. The screens are hard to protect, but luckily I don't have the tendency to drop or break stuff on accident.

There is an attachment for the 2ds (like $13) that makes it more like a controller, moving the triggers to the back. I'm a console nerd when it comes to smash so i dont usually play on the 2ds/3ds but when i do that is my go to

I've held a DSi before and the store display of a 3DS and TBH I really don't think I could have even played Sm4sh on a 3DS if I bought one. The 2DS just feels more solid IMO and sometimes I shake the system, (getting out of grabs for an example,) so it's a bit more ease of mind knowing that the screen won't close on me during a match.

It's not the best shape near the bottom though. The corners aren't too bad but if I hold it for a long time they kinda wear on the lower part of my palms a bit, which is my only gripe with the system. (Besides the 2DS case being a bit overpriced.)

Overall it just feels more solid and that it'll last me a very long time.

Always need to put it in your 2DS bag when not playing it LOL.

As for the ones who has New 3DS, here's my question: Does any of you guy had a experience that when you want to send replays to your friends, and when it's loading and about to go to the friends list, the game will go back to home menu screen and say "An error has occured and the game force to stop...", and then the system restarts. I did manage to upload one successfully, but I tried a couple of times it still happens. This really make me worried, so help.

I honestly don't like the 2ds design. I just feel like the flip design to it defines a ds and something like the 2ds taking a different look feels uncomfortable for me. I also like having a 3d option to gaming which is one of the reasons I would by a 3ds in the first place. I respect those who do own one but I just can't ignore my kinds of issues with it.
