Hello again!
I am working on a Thanos PSA over Ganondorf where Thanos would have all 6 infinity stones. What would be good is to have each recolor represent a different stone. Maybe a later project, but for right now, it's all 6 stones.
Thanos will start in game with the Power Stone, Space Stone, and Time Stone. So these stones are fairly straight forward.
Power and Time stone work hand in hand with Fast movements across the PSA along with heavy hitting attacks that do high damage % and larger knockback. Taunting down will generate the timer item and cause everything or his enemies to slow down (sometimes he too will slow down but that's more of a balancing mechanic)
The space stone will be for shielding and recoveries. Might do more with it but since it's brawl I don't have a lot of Space (no pun intended) in the files.
The Reality and Mind Stones will be applied after taunts. The Mind stone is also pretty straight forward: The mind stone, represented by LA Bit 250 simply grants Ganondorf a defensive collision across his entire model where all Projectiles will be reflected. Down Taunt spawns a pokeball.
The reality stone is where things get interesting. The strength the reality stone has in this PSA is incredible and will be fairly difficult for any foe to beat him. After all, "reality can be whatever I want". This stone is represented in PSA by LA Bit 249
With the reality stone, Thanos will generate health overtime with certain animations. Every successful shield hit will restore 5% health, and every attack he lands will restore a portion of health compared to the damage done. Next, Every Foe that lands a hit on Thanos will receive a small amount of damage. This damage is flinchless, so foes will not notice it until it is too late. Next, every new attack will have a different element to it (Fire, Ice, Electricity, etc etc). This is in reference to Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite where if you select the reality stone it can change elements dependent on what direction the attack is facing. Certain attacks I plan to change in PSA Compressor by having the attack redirect to another attack that was added to "FitGanonMotionEtc". Down Taunt will Spawn a Super Mushroom, which is reference to the "What if..." Series where Ultron collects all the stones and uses the Power and Reality Stone to Grow to a planetary size.
If Both Mind and Reality Stones are in effect, Down Taunt will Spawn an Assist Trophy, combining the likes of the mind and reality stone.
The Final Smash should be fairly obvious: The snap. The snap will only work if both the mind and reality stones are in effect. After the Snap, Thanos will be at kill percent (reference to endgame and infinity war where Thanos is just significantly weaker than before. Both Bits will be reset, and Thanos will have to taunt again in order to get back the stones. If neither bit is active, or its one or the other, Thanos's Final Smash will be him throwing a moon, reference to Infinity War where he used the Power and Space Stones to collect the energy from a moon to throw at Iron Man. (Also, I assume most people know half of these references, but I included them for explanation purposes and to avoid any copyright issues.)
So here are my problems with my current mod:
Currently there aren't any bug issues with the mod itself. Everything was done with the PSA Compressor and using WackaAlpaca's guide to creating new moves, where every item code is in the description of the video. My weaknesses of this mod is I don't know how to import models, nor do I know how to do Recolors. External Graphic effects are also fairly difficult for me, whether I put in my own or try to figure out the ones that are already built into Ganondorf. I'd also like to use The IC Constant 2 (player's current damage) to make sure Thanos's percentile doesn't go BELOW 0% for balance purposes. Every IC Constant 2 If statement I could think of has caused the game to soft freeze.
I Strongly believe that this is a mod that people would enjoy incorporating into their builds, especially if we can get different movesets with the recolors. I just need to figure out how to import the models and some programming things. Any advice would be appreciated.
Last thing, I do plan on having sound effects as well. I'll explain that maybe in a "Read Me" File or something. If you've read this far you're a real one.
