Does anyone know how to make a texture more... high-resolution?

The top of the head has the same texture mirrored TWICE (I put purple lines on the top-down view to show where). And by the way, each block of color is a SINGLE PIXEL. What I'm trying to do is texture the vertexed hair that you see on the top-down view (credit goes to Pikacshu for that, btw), but because the texture is mirrored twice across the head, texturing that part causes the back of the head to change as well...

You could try just plopping a higher-res image in there. But it won't fix the mapping issues, and both width and height have to be a power of 2.

Well, that definitely helps ^^ Thanks. So one problem solved... now for the other one. x.x
EDIT: ._. The image would have to be unbelievably massive to get respectable resolution...
4096x4096 for the pixels to be actual pixels. That's 688 KB for that one picture, as opposed to the original 17 KB... I think that might be a bit too big for the filesize limit.
