i know absolutely nothing about textures. i already have brawl+ but i cant figure out how to work textures at ALLLLL. i went here http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=225642 but i got stuck on the part that says

3. Open code manager and get one of the codes below (based on your region, PAL, NTSC, or NTSC-J) and set up your .gct (If you don't know how to do this, just ask someone in the thread, I'm sure they can help! Or you can just create a text file and import it into the code manager).

that means absolutely nothing to me because i have absolutely no clue how to work code manager D: how do i get this NTSC code in code manager and can you please tell me some other things a noob like me should know in order to easily add texture codes.

This is annoying me and i have already googled, youtubed, and searched many things to try to find the answer but i have absolutely no clue what im doing. someone help please D:

Use my guide on this in the Q&A + Requests thread. It's in the first post.

heres a copy and paste from my friend who told me how to use these codes

To use codes for Ocarina, you must first put the SD Card into your computer. Once you have done that, open the ocarina folder on your Desktop. I said earlier to keep the "pc" folder because you would need it later. Now is the time it is needed. Open the pc folder, and you will find about 7 or 8 files. The one that is needed to select codes is the Wii Cheat Code Manager. However, do not delete the two ".lng" files, as they are needed (you will not need to open them, but without them, you will not be able to run the Code Manager). Notice that there are also a few Notepad documents, or TXT files, that are in the pc folder. The files "rsbe" and "rsbp" are both code lists. The purpose of code lists are for the Code Manager to open them and read them (these contain the codes that the Code Manager imports). I will get into how you are supposed to use the Code Manager and these code lists in just a second. These two files "rsbe" and "rsbp" both contain the same exact codes. The only difference is that the rsbe file contains codes for North America, while the rsbp file contains codes for Europe. Since you are North American, you will not need the rsbp file. I'd recommend deleting it, as people in North America have no use for it. Also, the reason they are called "rsbe" and "rsbp" is because rsbe is the game ID for the North American version of Brawl, while rsbp is the game ID for the European version of Brawl. The TXT file "completeness of lists" simply tells you that the code list that comes with Ocarina is not complete and is merely an example list to experiment with. You may delete it if you want to.

All right, here's how to use the Code Manager. First, open the Code Manager. At the top-left-hand corner of the Code Manager, you should see an "open" option. Click open, and you will see the TXT files that are in your pc folder. Open the rsbe file. Once you open it, the Code Manager will start to import the codes from the code list. When the codes are done importing, you can select the codes you want by checking off the tick box to the left of the code. Note that several of these codes have variables (usually a series of X's) In the bottom-right of the code manager, it should tell you what you can replace the X's with when the code is highlighted. For instance, the character modifier has two X's. These X's can be filled in with the character's ID (The point of this hack is to make it so that the character ID you fill in will always be the character you play as). If you fill it with the hacked character's IDs (such as Giga Bowser or Wario Man), you will permanently play as this hacked character. Once you have filled in the X variables the way you want, you will be asked whether you want to store the changes to the code so that they are able to be saved to your SD Card. Click yes if you didn't mess anything up. Anyway, once you have filled out the variables of the codes you have selected, click "Export to GCT." Whatever drive you SD Card is on your computer (such as Removable Disk F), save the codes to that drive. If this is your first time saving, a folder called "codes" will automatically be created on the root of your SD Card when you click save. Within this folder, a file called "RSBE01.GCT" will be created. This file is what all the Brawl codes will be saved to.

Once your SD Card is in your Wii, start the Homebrew Channel and load Ocarina. If you exported the codes to your SD Card, Ocarina will read the codes and apply them to the game.

Ta-da! You have successfully used hacks on Brawl! The codes on it will be the same until you export new ones to the SD Card. The only thing is, you have to put your SD Card into your computer and export more codes to it to change the codes. It's a bit of a pain, but it's all worth it when the codes are being used. Also, there aren't many codes in the rsbe TXT file that comes with it. For many more codes, go to this website:

http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=209575

When you are there, copy and paste the code list (it's HUGE!!!) onto Notepad. When the code list is on Notepad, save it in the pc folder. You will be able to open it using the Code Manager.
You open all TXT files the same way.

That concludes how to hack Brawl. I hope I've helped you significantly, and I also hope you enjoy using the codes.

Just in case you still want help, I wrote this up a while ago but never posted it... I might post the full thing later... if it's actually helpful.

Download this . It is a premade SD pack with a gct (cheat file) already on it for both PAL and NTSC. This has the file replacement code, infite replays, infinite pause camera and tags in replay cheats on it. Next, clear your SD card of everything, unzip the SD pack and copy paste the contense onto your now blank SD card.

Now, download a texture. Make sure you know which character the texture modifies. In the premade SD pack, go to the following directory.

private > wii > APP > RSBE/RSBP (click RSBE if you have the American version, RSBP if you have the PAL version) > pf > fighter

Now, you should be in a folder filled with many other blank folders. Now, each folder responds to a character. Here is what the folders respond to (the characters are listed alphabetically for ease of access;

Character Name | Game Name
Bowser: koopa
Captain Falcon: captain
Charizard: pokelizardon
Diddy Kong: diddy
Donkey Kong: donkey
Falco: falco
Fox: fox
Ganondorf: ganon
Ice Climbers: popo
Ike: ike
Ivysaur: pokefushigisou
Jigglypuff: purin
King Dedede: dedede
Kirby: kirby
Link: link
Lucario: lucario
Lucas: lucas
Luigi: luigi
Mario: mario
Marth: marth
Meta Knight: metaknight
Ness: ness
Olimar: pikmin
Peach: peach
Pikachu: pikachu
Pit: pit
Pokemon Trainer: poketrainer
R.O.B.: robot
Samus: samus
Sheik: sheik
Snake: snake
Sonic: sonic
Wario: wario
Wolf: wolf
Yoshi: yoshi
Zelda: zelda
Zero Suit Samus: szerosuit

Ok, enter the folder of the character who's texture you have. Let's say you have a Roy texture which is fitted to Marth. Your directory would be;

private > wii > APP > RSBE/RSBP (click RSBE if you have the American version, RSBP if you have the PAL version) > pf > fighter > marth

Okay, now that we're in the correct directory, paste in your texture. It is now time to rename your texture. Rename your texture according to which character and which costume you want to modify. If I was modifying Marth and changing his original costume, the name would be FitMarth00. If I was changing Marth's red costume, the name would be FitMarth01. If I was replacing Jigglypuffs original costume, it would be named FitPurin00. Copied below is a list of each character's costume's number (all credit goes to Falco400):

So, now you're just about ready to start off playing with textures. Stick the SD card into your wii, run it through Gecko OS with orcarina cheats on and viola! You have textures.

NOTE: In some cases when you donwload textures (which are .pcs files) you will also download a .pac file. This .pac file is to maintain the textures during chages (ie. when wario change to wario man or zelda transforms to sheik). Just name the .pac file exactly the same as the original texture and put it in the same directory. You shouldn't have any problems with it.
