Texture hacking

Hello. I am new to texture hacking and I am having a lot of trouble. I have the phantom wings file patch code and I also have texture hacks for characters but they aren't working. I can get to the group thing but once I hit brawl it makes a loud beeping noise and it stops working. Can anyone help me with this?

This is where you should go for getting help on this issue rather than the Brawl Discussion even though you have already posted there.

My guess for the game freezing when you attempt to get to the character selection screen after selecting "Brawl" is one of your files is too big. As in the amount of bytes it takes up is too large. This can happen depending upon how the file was made.

Just to troubleshoot even if that is not the problem is try to remove certain files you put on your SD card to see which ones might be causing the problem. Once you know which file is causing troubles someone else might have an answer.
