Do smashers text each other about smash? I recently got texting on my phone and I think it would be awesome to text knowledgeable people concerning melée. So if you'd want to pm and I'll send you my number.

I think instant messenger / private messages / character specific boards / going to tournaments is much, much easier if all you want is to talk about Melee strats.

I guess I'm lucky to have a roommate who also happens to be my Melee teammate. Makes for easy brainstorming haha

I don't ever text about melee. Well, maybe to try and setup a smashfest but not about strategies and stuff. Not saying it's a bad idea but I've just never done it. There are lots of times where I'm away from a computer/cube and thinking about melee and have questions but I usually just wait till I get home and check the boards or forget about it completely. So I guess it could come in handy sometimes.

Or you could just talk about melee here!

But really its up to you. You should try your regional room though.
