Terrible matchmaking

The matchmaking system in for glory is honestly terrible. It appears to rank players based upon their win rate for the last 50 or 100 matches, as opposed to the overall win rate. This is an issue because when you win a lot in a lower level, you get thrown up into a much higher level in which you get destroyed. This leads you to go back down to lower levels and the cycle continues.

I really hate this system

To be honest the matchmaking seems alright to me, I don't ever get fresh players/beginners and those I get matched with are pretty decent usually. I haven't had any experience of getting thrown into a match with a severe skill level difference, but I believe it is a lot more better to play with the higher skilled players you meet in FG. You don't really even need to worry about your overall win rate, your goal should be to learn from the players you get destroyed by rather than collecting free wins off newbies.

The matchmaking in for glory is random.seems it just pairs anyone you can connected to first and it doesn't matter where they live or how good there are.

Best bet is to just play anyone you come across with,if there a beginner or average, practice with your secondary's or learn the matchup with your main.if there skilled, stay and play as much as possible.

That's not true. There's definite patterns of wins and losses that make me sure there is a matchmaking system

Just drop out and jump back in to see if you fight a better player.

It's not the best system, but it works.

its not that, i want a gradual increase in the skill of the opponents i face. matches made by the 5%s. if my win rate is 32%, put me with people who are between 30% and 35% win rate, when i end up beating enough 30-35%-ers, I go to the 35-40%-ers.
this set works well, unlike what it is now, with spikes and dips all around.

I believe this is the case. You get set up against the first person available that you can get a three way handshake going with.

I play a lot of decently good people, a small amount of people way better than me, and a lot of people who are clearly inexperienced.

As nice as it would be to know you are going to play someone at or around your skill level, I fear it may create a more toxic environment for new players to get into, like the Halo and LoL communities have dealt with in the past. People would care too much about their W/L and K/D to actually learn something from their opponent.

I think it's all random. I've faced bad and good players, both on the same day. Hopefully in the future they make an update where you face people with the same similar overall win rate, so battles aren't so monotonous.
