Tell me about offensive fastfalling

I cannot get the hang of offensive fastfalling for the life of me right now. It's embarrasing since I actually practiced wavedashing with Fox and Mario (latter in SD Remix), but can't get the hang of the "real" mechanic.

What's a good gauge for the fastfalling window for beginners?

Well, fastfalling is kinda the same for every character. You flick down at the peak of your jump (full hop or short hop). Once you get that down, you can add aerials and then L cancel them. Honestly, it just takes practice. It took me a while before it became second nature.

What do you jump with? It may be a lot more difficult to flick up on the control stick. Most people use x or y to jump. It should be less stressful on your left thumb, and it'll make it easier to shffl and wavedash.
