Good evening all, I've been wavedashing wo/ flaw with every character from Bowser to character X for quite some time now. The most common tech is pressing X or Y and then dodging diagonally @ the 4 o' clock & 7 o' clock position. Of course the 4 & 7 is the average distance the character can travel.

I've been trying to practice to always hit between 3-4 and 6-7 to increase the horizontal distance of my wavelands and dashes. Sometimes in matches, I would vary the length by accident, but I want to be able to do that on command. Through many hours of practice, the timing for the 4 & 7 position has been burned into my "muscle memory". I'm having quite a bit of trouble adjusting to the timing hitting the analog within 3-4 and 6-7. Do you all have any helpful suggestions or what not to help with a more efficient transition?
